Henry Clay's Clayton Heien returned a kickoff 76 yards for a TD to break a 28-28 tie and lead the Blue Devils to a 48-35 victory in a penalty-marred game. Henry Clay gained 268 yards on total offense but was penalized 24 times for 175 yards. The Blue Devils defense intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble. Clark County rolled up 353 yards of total offense and was penalized nine times for 83 yards.
Henry Clay QB Salin Simpson completed seven of 16 passes for 120 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception. Clayton Heien rolled up 243 all-purpose yards (three carries for 13 yards, three pass receptions for 70 yards and two TDs, three punt returns for 51 yards, two kickoff returns for 99 yards including a 76 yard return for a TD, and one interception return for 10 yards.) Matt Walker led the Blue Devil defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.
Clark County QB Josh Watts completed 18 of 40 passes for 284 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Gabe Barrett caught six passes for 129 yards. Henry Hudson added five receptions for 70 yards with two TDs. Robert Catron led the Clark County defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles.
