Friday September 1st

Danville  35   Boyle County 33
Danville improved their record to 3-0 and this marked the first victory for this year's senior class over Boyle County.
 
Henry Clay 28   Bell County  14
Chase Minnifield scored four touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils to a come-from-behind victory over Bell County.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].
 
Tates Creek  34   Madison Central  31   (2OT)
Marcus Kader ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns and Ty Sparks added 141 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Commodores to victory.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].
 
Lexington Christian Academy  21   Louisville Christian  0
LCA overcame seven fumbles and three intercepted passes to defeat Louisville Christian behind a strong defensive effort.  The Eagles held Louisville Christian to 100 yards total offense and five first downs.
 
Woodford County 21    East Jessamine19
Shawnta Lewis caught seven passes for 208 yards and two TDs to lead the Yellowjackets to victory. 
 
Madison Southern 61    Letcher County Central44  
QB Zach McGuire threw touchdown passes of 52, 16, 19, 15, 16, 6, and 31 yards to set a school record with seven TD passes and lead Madison Southern to victory.
 
  Pleasure Ridge Park  29 Paul Dunbar 14
PRP recovered three fumbles, intercepted two passes, and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown to earn the victory. 
 
Rockcastle County 47    Harrison County 25  
Dusty Miller ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns and Izak McQueary threw three TD passes to Shawn Childress to lead the Rockets to victory.
 
Frankfort 37    Paris8  
Paris took an 8-0 lead but Frankfort scored 37 unanswered points to capture the victory. 
 
South Laurel26    Corbin 6  
South Laurel rallied from a 14-0 deficit behind QB Ricky Bowling to take a 21-20 victory.  Corbin scored a TD in the fourth quarter but missed the extra point that would have tied the game.

Southwestern 20   Clark County  13
Southwestern took a 20-0 lead in the second quarter and held on for the victory.
