Bryan Station raced out to a 20-7 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 34-20 victory over Ashland. The Defenders led 34-7 in the fourth quarter before Ashland tallied two TDs to cut the final margin to 14 points, 34-20.
Bryan Station recorded 12 first downs and 280 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized four times for 44 yards and lost two fumbles. Ashland had 17 first downs and 340 yards of total offense. The They were penalized eight times for 83 yards and had two passes intercepted.
The Bryan Station ground game was led by Donald Wilhite with 89 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Terrell Combs carried the ball twice for 48 yards and a TD. Lance Morton completed five of 10 passes for 106 yards and a TD. Combs caught four passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. Combs also punted five times for a 43.0 yard average. Earl McCan led the Defender defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jordan Williams added five solo and one assisted tackles. Kris Bolton and Isiah Davis each recorded five solo tackles.
Matt Thomas led Ashland's ground game with 171 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Blake McLeod carried the ball three times for 80 yards and a TD. Drew Royalty completed two of nine passes for 24 yards with two interceptions. Adam Johnson and Ryan Bonner each caught a pass for 12 yards. Rashard Carter led the Ashland defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles. Trey Keaton added four solo and one assisted tackles.
