Woodford County's Steve Duckworth threw three TD passes in the second quarter in a 31-19 victory over Bryan Station. Two of his three TD strikes erased Bryan Station leads and the last gave the Yellowjackets a 24-13 halftime cushion. The opportunistic Woodford County defense picked off three passes.
Woodford County recorded 21 first downs and 356 yards of total offense. The Yellowjackets were penalized seven times for 63 yards, and lost two fumbles. Bryan Station had 18 first downs and 314 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized 13 times for 100 yards and had three passes intercepted.
Jordan Carter led the Woodford County ground game with 57 yards on 10 carries. Steve Duckworth carried the ball six times for 55 yards. Duckworth completed 24 of 35 passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns. Shawne Lewis caught six passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Jesse Wood added five receptions for 35 yards. Jordan Carter chipped in with four receptions for 42 yards and a TD. Wayne Hanley led the Yellowjacket defense with six solo and nine assisted tackles. Kristian Larsen added eight solo tackles. Curt Strange intercepted two passes with return yardage totalling 83 yards.
Donald Wilhite led Bryan Station's ground game with 96 yards on 26 carries. Tevin McCaden carried the ball 10 times for 39 yards. Lance Morton completed 12 of 22 passes for 121 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. J. Lewis-Barfield caught six passes for 45 yards. Terrell Combs added four receptions for 54 yards and three touchdowns. Earl McCan led the Defender defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Dharan Mason added four solo and six assisted tackles.
