Johnson Central rolled up a whopping 576 yards of total offense in a 58-21 victory over Bryan Station tonight. The Golden Eagles rolled up 313 yards on the ground and 263 yards through the air while recording 27 first downs. Johnson Central was penalized 13 times for 128 yards. Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 195 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized eight times for 69 yards and had three passes intercepted.
Shawn Grim led the potent Johnson Central ground attack with 225 yards and six TDs on 28 carries. J. K. Ratliff completed 12 of 21 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Ian Welch caught five passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Grim added three receptions for 79 yards. Tanner Bratton led the Golden Eagle defense with four solo and five assisted tackles. Nathaniel Dials added three solo and five assisted tackles. Ryan Harlow recorded nine assisted tackles.
Donald Wilhite led Bryan Station's ground game with 62 yards on 17 carries. Lance Morton completed eight of 17 passes for 86 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Terrell Combs caught six passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Earl McCan led the Defender defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles. Jordan Taylor added five solo and four assisted tackles.
