Corbin defeated Lexington Christian Academy 48-34 in an offensive slugfest in which the teams combined for 998 yards of total offense. It was also a titanic battle between running backs who had sensational games. Corbin's Caleb Watkins ran for 301 yards including TD runs of 2, 97, 41, and 93 yards. LCA's Domonique Hayden also ran for 301 yards including TD runs of 13, 2, 52, and 16 yards.
Corbin recorded 15 first downs and 514 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 20 yards and had two passes intercepted. LCA had 24 first downs and 484 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized two times for 10 yards and had one pass intercepted.
Caleb Watkins led Corbin's ground game with 301 yards and four touchdowns. Michael Campbell added 56 yards on 11 carries. Lance Freeman carried the ball five times for 41 yards. Freeman completed six of 12 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Corey Sewell caught three passes for 35 yards. Matthew Taylor added two receptions for 15 yards and a TD. Kevin French caught one pass for 66 yards and a TD. Michael Campbell led the defense with five solo tackles. Casey Creech added four solo and one assisted tackles.
Domonique Hayden led LCA's ground game with 301 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries. Lucas Witt carried the ball 12 times for 40 yards and a TD. Witt also completed 10 of 21 passes for 117 yards with one interception. Ben Hartley caught four passes for 46 yards. Joey Meehan added three receptions for 43 yards. Will Collins led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Michael Harmon recorded five solo tackles.
