Coach Mark Dixon's Hazard Bulldogs gained 3211 yards on the ground and 3721 yards through the air. They averaged 49.9 ppg on offense and gave up 18.1 ppg. 5-9 185 pound Jr. RB Zack Blanton led the ground game with 950 yards and 15 touchdowns on 90 carries. 6-1 185 pound Sr. QB Jon Combs carried the ball 96 times for 576 yards and nine touchdowns. 5-11 195 pound Sr. FB Corey Slone added 552 yards and eight touchdowns on 64 carries. QB Jon Combs completed 161 of 216 passes for 3553 yards and 48 touchdowns with five interceptions. 6-2 160 pound So. WR Jordan Olinger caught 48 passes for 1083 yards and 12 touchdowns. 6-2 185 pound Jr. WR B.J. Combs added 38 receptions for 800 yards and nine touchdowns. 5-11 161 pound So. WR Austin Johnson caught 33 passes for 827 yards and 14 touchdowns. LB Corey Slone led the defense with 100 tackles. 6-1 215 pound DL Jordan Hampton and Safety Jordan Olinger added 77 and 72 tackles respectively.
Coach Joe Morris’ Mayfield Cardinals gained 2630 yards on the ground and 3067 yards through the air. They averaged 49.3 ppg on offense and gave up 10.1 ppg. 5-11 195 pound So. RB Jonathan Jackson led the ground game with 1285 yards and 15 touchdowns on 152 carries. 5-6 175 pound Sr. RB Decole Noonan carried the ball 118 times for 855 yards and 12 touchdowns. 6-1 165 pound Sr. QB Luke Guhy completed 147 of 220 yards for 2916 yards and 36 touchdowns with two interceptions. 5-10 165 pound Jr. WR William Higgingson caught 43 passes for 879 yards and 10 touchdowns. 6-2 205 pound Sr. WR Javarius Richardson added 37 receptions for 767 yards and eight touchdowns. 5-8 140 pound Sr. WR Devin Jones caught 30 passes for 706 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Mayfield took advantage of Hazard turnovers on their way to a 47-6 victory. Mayfield improves to 15-0 while Hazard falls to 14-1. Mayfield recorded 14 first downs and 457 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized once for five yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted. Hazard recorded 14 first downs and 331 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized eight times for 76 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.
Jonathan Jackson led Mayfield’s ground game with 71 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Luke Guhy completed 19 of 24 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Devin Jones caught eight passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. Kenny Payton caught two passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Jonathan Jackson led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards. Alex Gonzalez added five solo and four assisted tackles.
Jon Combs led Hazard’s ground game with 83 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Jon Combs completed 14 of 24 passes for 163 yards with two interceptions. B.J. Combs caught four passes for 93 yards. Austin Johnson added three receptions for 51 yards. Corey Slone led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Zack Blanton added four solo and three assisted tackles.
