Coach Bob Beatty’s Trinity Shamrocks gained 2690 yards on the ground and 2741 yards through the air. They averaged 41.6 ppg on offense and gave up 11.2 ppg. 5-6 165 pound Sr. RB Derek Bishop led the ground game with 1679 yards and 25 touchdowns on 247 carries. 5-8 175 pound So. RB Dalyn Dawkins carried the ball 81 times for 733 yards and 10 touchdowns. 6-0 180 pound So. QB Travis Wright completed 195 of 277 passes for 2558 yards and 31 touchdowns with seven interceptions. 6-1 165 pound So. WR James Quick caught 80 passes for 1081 yards and 15 touchdowns. 6-4 185 pound Sr. WR Hunter Kopp added 32 receptions for 594 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Coach Chris Wolfe’s
Male Bulldogs gained 3575 yards on the ground and 1049 yards through the
air. They averaged 29 ppg on offense and
gave up 14.3 ppg. 5-9 142 pound Jr. RB Ronjae Morris led the ground game with
1172 yards and 11 touchdowns on 127 carries.
5-9 173 pound Sr. RB John Gliddens carried the ball 158 times for
1094 yards and 10 touchdowns. 6-1 173
pound Jr. QB Lorentez Barbour
completed 36 of 94 passes for 555 yards and seven touchdowns with four
interceptions. 6-1 175 pound Jr. QB Tyler Adams completed 38 of 90 passes
for 468 yards and six touchdowns with six interceptions. 5-11 171 pound Sr. Jalon Kemp caught 11 passes for 128 yards and three
touchdowns. 6-0 162 pound Sr. Troy Denning added 10 receptions for
109 yards and three touchdowns. 6-3 227 pound Sr. TE Emilio Gonzalez caught eight passes for 284 yards and a touchdown. 6-0 190 pound Sr. LB Solomon
Trinity defeated Male by a score of 38-0. Trinity recorded 17 first downs and 491 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized eight times for 61 yards. Male recorded 10 first downs and 136 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized three times for 35 yards, and had two passes intercepted.
James Quick led trinity’s ground game with 155 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Derek Bishop carried the ball 15 times for 82 yards and a touchdown. Dalyn Dawkins carried the ball 13 times for 71 yards. Travis Wright completed 19 of 22 passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns. Hunter Kopp caught seven passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. James Quick added seven receptions for 30 yards. Derek Bishop caught three passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Adam Reynolds led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Dylan Steele and Turney Sugg each recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Ryan White recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.
Troy Denning led Male’s ground game with 47 yards on 11 carries. Ronjae Morris carried seven carries for 25 yards. John Gliddens added 24 yards on seven carries. Tyler Adams completed six of 16 passes for 28 yards with two interceptions. Clay Kesterson caught two passes for 12 yards. Clay Kesterson led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles. Lorentez Barbour added five solo and four assisted tackles. Solomon Logan recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.
