Central defeated Belfry by a score of 15-14.  Central won despite losing star running back Anthony Wales on the second play of the game with a separated shoulder.  The winning score came on a spectacular catch in the corner of the end zone by Cornelius Bolden on a 35 yard pass from Tajh Milliken with 2:01 left in the game. Central improves to 12-3 while Belfry falls to 13-2.  Central recorded 12 first downs and 262 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized six times for 45 yards and lost one fumble.  Belfry recorded nine first downs and 195 yards of total offense.  The Pirates were penalized four times for 30 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Jaquez Howard led Central’s ground game with 59 yards on 14 carries.  Tajh Milliken carried the ball 10 times for 30 yards.  Tajh Milliken completed eight of 12 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns.  Derius Jones caught three passes for 44 yards.  Tae Shawn Gibbs caught two passes for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Cornelius Bolden added two receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.  D. Tarrance led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Phillip Francis added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Korry Cornelius recorded six solo tackles.

Trey Willis led Belfry’s ground game with 69 yards on 15 carries.  Justin Johnson carried the ball 11 times for 25 yards.  Tyler Williams completed two of five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Howie Dotson caught a 74 yard touchdown pass.  Josh Dixon led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Mad. Ghormley added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Howie Dotson recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards.  Gary Runyon added four solo and one assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.
