FlinchFlesh Enema/Dyslexic Rhino ep20 song lp/ep by this D.C. based oldschool punk band. Not a real headturner but the band does show lots of promise. The songs that turned my head were "kick the can" and "here we go again". Worth a check out though if there around......ScottE-mail flinch

BREAKING SPREE9pwf8 song self release cd from a west palm beach, FL street punk trio. Some ska threw in the mix was the only thing I didnt like(but I am not a ska fan so dont trust my judgement on it) high points are tracks 1"kickback", 6"insane" and 8"broken glass". you can tell by the way they sound they have played together for a while.....scott Breaking spree webpage

Prescott'cEverything upsidedown and backwardKiller 2 man post hardcore...Drums and guitar with no bass problems whatsoever. You can also get this killer 3 song ep from me for $3 and it is great, I usually only like hardcore punk anyway......Scott.

River City RebelsRacism, Religion, and War...New band on Victory Records Very Political punk rock with a horn section. Lots of great songs like hate, the system, here or to go, and an acoustic Stars and Strips. This is the first Victory Records cd I have liked since the first Snapcase cd. They sound almost ska "almost" I read that the average age of this band is 18 if so then they can make records for a long time before they get old. get your own goddamn copy this ones mine bitch!......Scott......visit the rebels HERE

fu inlesomewhere elseIndy rock style. Powerfull yet calm. The only disclaimer I had was the fact there was only 8 songs on the cd. Theirs no way for me to discribe their sound its just BAM!......scott.....contact jon@flanaganpromotions.com

Blake ChenshadowWierd, that describes it. Think of Nine Inch Nails if they were kinda Folk like, sorta like lou reed. Crazy drum wild guitar and damn. First non punk cd I've reviewed but I kninda like this one....Scott....contact jon@flanaganpromotions.com

The NubilesBring 'Em onI first met this band in Somerset KY while playing a show with them, I was hooked like trout when I heard their stuff, Powerfull band (And the guitarist played naked, thats punk!) Real oldschool sounding with a girl singer. E-mail them at nubiles@excite.com for more info......Scott

MixtwicthFunny Because its TrueCool cd from an ireland pop/punk band with a skaish twist also. Their like putting Blink182, Greenday, and goldfinger in a blender and then pours out smooth....Scott Check their webpage

Deep13Well now that Mark the destroyer finally got that tape to us I can say that Deep13 have done a fine job. It rocked my ass to a very explosive adrinalin rush. Get a copy or you just blow ass!Now if they only gave me a title list...scott

The InfectedTolorance for FailureVery fine, strong melodic punk. Unfortunatly I heard that they broke up, that really sucks cause I kinda like em'. Get a copy from Eugene Records...scott

The Postage-EraPar AvionKinda cool 6-song cd, very different packing than most cd's i've gotten. But it does them no justice after hearing them live. They Rock Extreamly hard ass live...but the cd lacks the power.Go to their pageHERE.....scott

NOFXPunp up the valiumFuck man everytime I get the new Nofx album I am amazed at how much better they get. Love it like a new mohawk, very fast and very gross in a way with songs like "my vagina" a song about a man with a sex change and "louise"the next part in the liza and louise tradition. Its just so good, but the wierd part is that theirs no reggae? odd, huh. Oh well maybe next time, not that i'm concerned....scott Fat-Wreckchords

DropjawThe Agony of DefeatNice music. I kinda liked it but it was too short only 7 songs of pure kick ass sensation. Worth a check out if you like a different tempo of punk with the power and words to compensate....ScottDropjaw HomepageMid-Class Records

Revealed By Fire7-song demo cd Well one thing if for damn sure, a band like this will only make demo's for their existance. Sucks like rotted egg....Well I hate their "singer"because he uses the old death metal"rowf, rowwfff"growl singing but the music is decent...scott

12 OZ. RebelsSalute You! Not bad, a 19 song cd by a band I never heard of until recently. Nice cover of Black Flags "Depression"But if you love Black Flag then this is your band...Scott12. OZ RebelsT-Bird Records

The ScematicSBoot Factor Five First off I dont like ska too much. But i'm a fair guy and this was a decent ska cd with a little swing/jazzey mood to it. 15 songs ska freaks will fall in love...Scottthe Scematics HomepageTastefully done Records

Bad ReligionThe New AmericaWow this is Bad Religion? How can that be? Last time I heard them(No Substance)they sucked. Best album they have released since the pre-major label days. If your a BR fan you will not be dissapointed....Buy it....Scott

Punk-O-RamaVol.#5Once againg Epitaph Records releases their yearly comp. and its a little better than #4. Although someone stole #4 out of my truck before I could get a good listen. Anyway 28 songs by your Epitaph bands. Its pretty good shit man....ScottPunk o Rama Page

EMINEMMARSHAL MATHERS LPShady's back in top form! If you did'nt like the "Slim Shady LP", you'll dispise this. Twice as sick, twice hardcore, twice as real. Say what you want EMINEM is gifted lyrical genius and the future of rap. Period.....J-Rad

METALLISKASka tribute to 80's Metal(TOHEP RECORDS) This is cool, I never thought I would dig some of these songs. Some of them still suck!!!!! Some hi points on this comp. are MU330's cover of Metallica's "Motarbreath", The Slackers doing Bon Jovi's "Dead or alive". Low points- Whoever done "kick start my heart", "the night rider song"(sux). But there are a lot of great bands on this cd; the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less than Jake, Regatta 69, and many more. Its worth the $9.99 retail price. A must for ska and 80's metal freaks but hell any punker will love this if only for the cheese factor.....J-RAD

Face to FaceIt sucked so bad I did'nt want to remember the name of it (Vagerant Records) I listened to this at Recordsmith(Richmond, KY) on the headphone sampler section. I was contomplating buyin' it until I heard this lame ass crap. What happened to this once killer group. Medio-core like all the rest. What a fuckin' tradgity......J-Rad
