I go to my little church sometimes when no one's there, To talk to Jesus and tell him my special prayer.

I kneel at the alter and begin to speak, I tell Jesus I need his strength for I am weak.

On the pulpit hangs a cross that shows how Jesus died, As I look up and see it I feel the holy spirit deep inside.

My prayers on angels wings were flew, Straight to Jesus they got through.

I feel the peace, contentment, and love, That he sends me down from heaven above.

I know my prayer has been heard, Ask and ye shall receive, it says so in his word.

I put my trust in Jesus, not in any man, For Jesus won't let you down and man can.

So keep Jesus in your heart, He will never tear you apart.
