I never really
knew what it was to live, Until I ask
Jesus my sins to forgive.
I was so unhappy when I was lost, So
many times Satan's path I had crossed.
Satan knew just how to take control,
For he didn't want me to learn how Jesus
could save my soul.
Satan wanted no part of my Savior's
love, He was angry because he was cast
out of heaven above.
Satan will trick you with his lies full
of hate, He wants to pull you down away
from heaven's gate.
Satan wants to keep you confused, And
you won't realize to get to you the
things he's used.
Satan loves to see our families torn
apart, He knows he has more control over
a broken heart.
It's easier for him to trick you that
way, He wants to see you eternally pay.
Satan kept my life torn up for so
long, He wanted me to beleive right was
wrong.
But then I met Jesus one day, As I knelt
at an alter to pray.
From Satan's lies he set me free, And
now Jesus lives inside of me.
I'm so glad the flames of hell Jesus did
beat, So I can meet my Savior someday on
that golden street.
