There was so much pain and sorrow, I
lived day by day not caring if I saw
tomorrow. On me Satan had a hold, He
turned my life so empty and cold.
Until one night The Holy Ghost touched
me, It was that night at the alter Jesus
set my spirit free. Satan fought hard
not to let him win, He wanted my life to
be bound with sin. But Jesus knew
the way I'd been living,And as I knelt
at the alter and prayed my sins were
forgiven. A new life was given to
me, On the night Jesus set my spirit
free. Never again to be burdened with
the pain of the past, Replaced with a
happiness that will forever last.
