Orange Sherbet Punch

2 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry jello
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
1 cup lemon juice
1 quart orange sherbet (softened)
1 bottle ginger ale (chilled)

Combine jello and sugar, add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Stir in cold water and juices. Spoon sherbet into punch, add ginger ale.
