2 egg yolks (reserve egg whites)
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
4 bananas (peeled & sliced)
Vanilla wafers
Mix flour and sugar. Combine with milk and egg yolks. Cook over nedium heat until mixture thickens (stirring constantly). Remove from heat, add vanilla and butter. In a baking dish place a layer of vanilla wafers, bananas, and half of the pudding mixture. Follow with another layer. Top with meringue and bake at 450 until brown.
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. sugar
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, add sugar.
