Failproof Pie Crust

Flour, salt, shortening, and water (room temperature)

For perfect pie crust every time, use...
1/2 as much shortening as you do flour
1/2 as much water as you do shortening
1/2 tsp. salt for each cup of flour used

Example
2 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. salt

This keeps well and also freezes well.
