Now a lot of people try to use the following verses
to indicate the tribulation period and their
protection
from the tribulation period. Let us look at each of
these verses and see just what it is saying.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven gainst
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold
It says here that the wrath is against all ungodliness
Wrath is a form of punishment. What is the punishment
for sin? Separation from God, in other words cast into Hell.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be
Justified by His blood for what? Salvation, Freed from
the wrath of sin or separated from God and taken into
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord
Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Verses 10 and 11 says we will be saved by the life of Christ,
in other words we will not see death or separation from God
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power
known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do
that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in
vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute
What is the punishment of God to them that do evil? Cast into Hell.
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the
dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
What wrath did Jesus deliver us from? The wrath of the final
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation
Again I feel the word wrath here means separation from God,
which Christ Jesus protects us against through salvation.
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should
See live together with Him, not separated from Him through His wrath.
So I sware in my wrath,They shall not enter into my rest.)
Could anything be more clearer than this? The wrath being
spoken of in God’s word has nothing to do with the things that
will occur during the tribulation period but the separation
Re 6:17
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able
Notice here the great day of His wrath, not many, just one.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time
of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest
give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints,
and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest
Now I believe this verse sums it all up. Does this have
anything to do with the tribulation period? No it is the final
judgement, the day that the wrath will come Against the unbelievers.
Now read the following verses of Revelation and see if it is
not talking of the final judgement. It is dealing
Re 14:10
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and
his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write,
Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one
sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud
voice to
him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap:
for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven,
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power
over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp
sickle, saying,Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the
clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered
the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood
came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles,
by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
Now I could be badly mistaken but I do not think so, as I
believe every verse mentioned in the New Testament deals
I believe we will go through most if not all of the tribulation period.
