RAPTURE PAGE

Now I know you have probably read this information before, but I believe it is very important to discuss this in its entirety so one can see what is going to happen.

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Re 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

In most teaching's from most doctrines, (and I was brought up under this doctorine until just the past few years) they say that between the incident of the churches spoken of in Revelation chapter two and three and this time span of John, that this was when the rapture was to occur, because the Church was not mentioned after this.

Well this is not true. The voice here was speaking stictly to John, telling him to come up, (so he could be shown what was to occur) not the Church, just John.

The rapture or calling out will be at the near end of the tribulation period and we are already in that, in fact almost through it.

This rapture or calling out of the Christians is what I want to deal with right now.

This new line of studying is going to be kind of hard to keep in perspective so bare with me and please if there is anything you do not understand or agree with please let me know.

Okay let us look at what changed my views

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
When I first read this verse, years ago, I knew it was dealing with the Rapture but I did not pay much attention to it, I just believed what the Preachers were saying, for they knew their Bible (I thought)

In the past few years, because of my calling, I got more involved with reading God's word for myself, maybe I should say studying God's Word, and I discovered what I had been taught was not what God's Word said.

When I did this I found that Preachers were not using another verse of the Bible that said almost the same thing, but with more accurecy.

1 Cor. 15:53
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Then I was led to read Revelations 11:15 -19

Rev. 11:15
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The seventh angel sounded, in other words the seventh trumpet, there were only seven trumpets mentioned so this seventh trumpet had to be the last triumph found in 1st Cor. 15:53

When one reads these verses, then they know that it is at the ending of the tribulation period, just before the 1000 years of rest. not before.

Re 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Re 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Re 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

1 Thes. 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words Now I hope you can see where I am coming from with the seventh (or last) trumpet.

Now I know a lot of people says we will not go through the tribulation period, because of what some verses in the Bible says, but let us look at those verses.
