My Name is Sheryl Lynn Craig. I was born Oct. 6, 1964. In Christian Co Kentucky. I have 2 younger Brothers and no real Sisters. But I have plenty of Step Sisters and a Step Brother that I will tell you about in a little bit. My Brother, Jimmy he is 15 months younger than me. He is married and has 5 stepdaughters and 3 step grandson. He lives about an hour from me and we hardly ever see each other. Steve he is the Baby. He lives in Va. he is married and has 2 lovely Daughters, and one Son
and another on the way. Our parents we divorced when we were young. They both have since remarried. My Mother, her husband is great. He has always
treated my brothers and I like we were his own and still does. He brought something to the marriage, 3 Children of his own. Gail, Ricky and Kathy. This is where the Step siblings come in. They are all great. Gail, she lives in St. Louis, has 1 son John, and he has 2 children of his own, 2 Boys. Ricky has a son Ryan, and Kathy has a daughter Melly. Ricky and Kathy both live in S.C. We don't get together much any more, last time we were all together was in 1988.
My dad has just remarried for the 3rd time in March 2004. Her name is Joann,
Jo for short. She is a real sweetheart! She is nothing compared to the last one.
Joe has 5 children 4 boys, Joey, Mike and Mark (Twins) and Ronnie and Pat her
daughter. I have meet all of my Stepbrothers, I am looking forward to meeting Pat. I am so thankful that Daddy has Jo in his life. I have seen a real
difference in him, and others that know him have seen the difference too. Jo
makes Daddy laugh and has put that special sparkle back in his eyes I haven't
seen in years! Thanks Jo, for making my Daddy so happy!!!!!
I have been married to the same Great Man for 25 Years! His name is Howard, our marriage is one of those Marriages that Every one said would never Last! Because, I was just barely 16 when
we got married, he was 18. He didn't even have a job at that time. But that didn't matter to us we were in love. 5 Months after we were married, our first of 5 children were born. No it wasn't an accident, we planned her because neither of my parents would sign for me to get married. So I knew that if I was to get pregnant my parents wouldn't refuse to sign for me. So on May 24th, 1981 Our First Child was Born, a Girl. We named Her Susan Ann. She Was Named for my Husbands Mother, and My Step Mother (bad choice now
Susan Ann will tell you now, that she was named for my Mothers best friend, Sara
Ann). When Susan Ann was 17 months Old her first of 4 Brothers were Born, James Doyle, born Oct. 22, 1982, he was named for my Dad and My Husbands Step Dad. ON Oct. 9, 1984 our third Child and second Son was born. David Allen, He was named for My Husbands Father and my Grandmother. On Nov.18th 1988 our 4th Child and 3rd son was born, Howard Scott, he was Named for his Dad and my Step Dad. Then Almost 12 years later Number 5 Arrives on May 19th 1999 Nathanial Garrick was born. He was My Dads Birthday Present! My kids are going up so fast. I just can't believe it. It seems like yesterday they were born.
Susan Ann is 25 now. She still lives at home with us, She works everyday.
James, is married to a wonderful young lady named Stacy. She is really great
for him and they are doing great. They have been married just a little over 5yrs. They are expecting their first child in Nov. I will have more on the baby as time goes by.
David is
22 now, out of High School. Wow its hard to believe that I have 3
out of high school now! He is a
volunteer; Fireman for the Auburn Fire Department, a dream of his since he was a little boy.
Scott is now 17
and a SR. in high school. He participates in the JROTC
and FFA programs at school.
Nathan, aka "Little Man" he is
7 Is now in the second grade. He loves school. Which is a blessing, most kids his
age don't like school.
Howard and I have worked for the same company together for the last 5 years. He has been with the company for 20 years. Well this year they decided that they would close the factory, effecting about 400 employees. Howard has now found a good job. Loves his work which is great. We were afraid that he wouldn't find anything that he would be happy doing again.
I don't have a lot of Hobbies, but I do enjoy Flower gardening, Reading,
Genealogy, my Computer, but the biggest Hobby is my Family. We try to spend a lot of time with each other. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings. SHERYL
