History: The creature which is most known by the name of "Shadow Devil" was not born in the way that a person would have thought. Infact, he was never born at all, he was created by the one and only Bale BlackMoon. The reason for the creation of the Devil of Shadows was a mystery to most, though it is easily explained from the time which it occured. Bale created Shadow from the shadows which rested in his heart to reduce the control that darkness had over him and that allowed him to conquer his Black Saint abilities without losing himself. Instead of simply conquering the Devil which he had created, he used those elements which Ruby had instilled in him to establish control and placed them in Shadow, though re-programmed them in the process. Shadow Devil was finally one of the three devils that served Bale, he standing next to Tridevil and Dream Devil. He, with the other three of his comrads, protected the BlackMoon name without every swaying from their cause. Shadow functioned as the assassin, and handler of all the dirty work which was needed as Bale continued to grow in power and abillities. As all things must do it, the protection of the family wasn't needed anymore, and the three devils were sent off to a paradox to constantly train untill the day which they were needed. Though, it was impossible for him to surpass Tridevil, he was his main training partner, causing his own skills to be put to the test and mastered. A voice called out to Shadow one day, and it brought him to a world that he had never seen before; Tyran. He was amazed at all of the sights, as well as the inferior creatures which lerked around him. Bale wanted him to protect his grand-daughter, who had been in Tyran for some time now. Of course, Shadow had agreed to do this and without any sort of hesitation. He and Mercia BlackMoon grew close every moment that he spent with her, and she was even one who caused emotions to actually form within his heart. When Bale found out the two were madly in love, he gave his full support by handing Shadow his free will, to a point anyway. Shadow Devil and Mercia were overjoyed, and when Bale disappeared from the realm, they stayed behind for a few short months. However, Mercia wished to find her grandfather once again, and Shadow wasn't going to stop her. The two beamed into the Lunar Realm, right to the location of Bale. They all talked and such, and it was then decided that Shadow and Mercia would actually stay in this place. Now, Shadow simply watches over his love and protects her in every way that he can, as well as doing side jobs for the Lunar Realm in the process.
