Black Box (other known as Death Box)

Lots of people have died and will keep dying in this beautiful canyon. The San Rafeal river has cut a slot canyon thru Indian bench, creating walls of sheer rock 4 and 500 feet high (straight up!) It's over 15 miles long with no where to camp (thank God there would be more people to die if there was.) People like to tube or hike thru the canyon, which is nice but you have to get wet. On a nice day its ok but if there is a storm within 20 or 30 miles beware, a 10 foot high wall of water kills!!
