Imagine Entertainment presents "ABeautiful Mind". A human drama about the struggles of a true genius, inspired by events in the life of John Forbes Nash, JR. The movie is directed by Ron Howard, and starts Russel Crowe (Gladiator), Ed Harris (Apollo 13), Jennifer Connelly (Requiem for A Dream), and Paul Bettany (A Knight's Tale).
A mathematicl genius, John Forbes Nash Jr. (Crowe) made an astonishing discovery early in life and stood on the brink of international acclaim. But his prodigious career was undermined when he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Nash, however, fought back with the help of his wife Alicia (Connelly). He had always been driven by his quest for one truly original idea and never lost sight of that dream. After many years of struggle he triumphed over tragedy and received the Nobel Prize in 1994.
I don't want to reveal anything about the plot of the movie, it's best to experience it yourself. This movie is on the brink of being a tearjerker, but it's not. While it is a movie the whole family can enjoy, I think those under twelve or thirteen probably would not understand it. I give this movie 4 stars, and say, A Beautiful Mind, is a BEAUTIFUL MOVIE.
