Half Asuras are rare indeed. These creatures are naturally the offspring of a union between a chaotic servant of good powers and a particularly brave and righteous human. Half Asuras often keep many of their immortal parent but the most significant trait are the burning eyes, a symbol of the righteous wrath that animates those beings.
Half Asuras are emotional characters with a explosive temperament. No one should ever make a glorious half asuras go angry or he will have to challenge a fearsome opponent. Most half asuras are skilled warriors fighting with all the rage and the passion that animates them but a few chose other specialties and eventually become master in their art.
Basically then half asuras tend to be awesome warriors, extremely skilled with their weapons witch they use to fight against their foes. Half Asuras are particularly skilled with any kind of sword and giant spears witch they use while fighting on a mount. As another link to their parents half asuras often ride flying mounts like pegasi or griffins.
Ability adjustment: Half Asuras have a +1 bonus to their Strenght and their Wisdom scores. They are not fragile but have a –1 adjustment to their Constistution. Finally their behavior sometimes makes them hard to deal with so they have a –1 adjustment to their Charisma.
Special abilities: Half Asuras have some of the powerful traits of their mighty parent. First of all of them have a +4 bonus on their saving throw vs. spells like charms, domination, fear or emotion. Secondly the burning eyes of a half asuras can detect lie up to three times a day. As fearsome warriors the half asuras gain a special +1 to hit bonus when they use a spear or a sword of any type. Last but not the least the have a 10% MR.
Special hindrances: Half Asuras do not have a special hindrance but some of them, especially when behaving like a true asuras could be mistaken for one of them.
Class options: Half Asuras can be fighters, wizards, thieves or priests. Specialty wizards can choose any school but conjuration and abjuration. Specialty priests always choose good and or personated powers like those from noble war, love, beauty or nature. Multiclassed characters can be fighter/wizards, fighter/thieves or fighter/priests.
