Rouze, Theodore, of Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth Co. NJ, will of
Wife,
Mary, Use of farm whereon I live (except meadow adjoining Israel Ivin's Grist
Mill), also 2 cows, 4 sheep, 2 horses, wagon, all farm utensils, all household
goods until youngest child comes of age, when all estate is to be sold.
Wife,
Mary to have $533.33 in lieu of dower.
She is to maintain and educate the children, giving to each of the girls
a bed and bedding when 18. If either of
the 4 daughters by last wife should die before 18 and leave no issue, said
share to be divided between surviving daughters.
Son,
John, $14. Above said meadow and 50
acres bought of John Cain on Andrew Race's Run, and other stock not given to
wife, to be sold and debts paid.
Son,
Daniel, 180 acres near John Carr.
Granddaughter,
Susanah Coward (daughter of Daniel), a bed and bedding when 18.
Pineland
to son, John, for lifetime, then to his son, Daniel.
Residue
of money from sale of said lands to sons, Joseph and David, and daughter
Charity (wife of Thomas Sill), each one full share, and daughter Sarah (wife of
Daniel Renear {Rainier}) and sons, Daniel and Joseph, each to have 1/2 share.
Youngest
daughter [unnamed, possibly Theodesia], my big Bible.

as executrix.
