Swiss Steak

1 round steak
flour
1 onion, diced
water, (skilletful)
salt
pepper
2 tablespoons shortening

Roll round steak in flour and brown. Put in a baking dish. Brown onions, and add to round steak. Salt and pepper. Melt the shortening and add flour as if to make gravy. Add water and mix and pour over steak. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Will make it's own gravy as it bakes.
