Mashed Potatoes

potatoes
salt
pepper
2 to 4 tablespoons butter
milk

Use enough potatoes for desired serving. Peel potatoes and cut them in chunks. Put in pan. Cover with water and boil till tender. Drain and return to pan. Mash with masher or use electric mixer. Add butter, salt, and pepper. Mash again. Add a liitle milk at a time until desired thickness.
