1 - 10 ounce package frozen leaf spinach
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 - 8 1/2 ounce can water chestnuts, drained and minced
2 green onions chopped
1 package dry vegetable soup mix

Cook spinach and press all the liquid from spinach. Mix all ingredients together and chill. Serve on french bread or with crackers or tortilla chips.
