Magic Biscuits

5 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
1 cup shortening
2 cups buttermilk
1 package dry yeast
4 tablespoons hot water

Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and yeast that has been dissolved in hot water. Put in oiled bowl in refrigerator. You don't have to wait for rising. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 350 degrees till brown.

Note: These biscuits taste even better the second day. Use only amount needed. Batter will keep up to a week in refrigerator.
