1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup lard or butter
3 eggs
1 cup milk with 1 teaspoon soda in it
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour

Mix sugars together and add lard or butter and creme together. Add the rest of ingredients except flour and mix well. Add flour mix well. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until light brown.

Can add cream of tarter instead of baking powder for a harder cookie.
