1 stick of margarine
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup quick oats ( 1 minute)
1 1/3 cup self rising flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup boiling water

Add all ingredients together adding water last. Mix until margarine is dissolved. Bake at 375 degrees till done.

Icing
1/4 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
Bring to a boil and pour over cake. May add 1/2 cup of coconut and walnuts to icing if desired.
