2 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter room temp
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup buttermilk

Do not add more flour. Mix and chill several hours. Roll 1/4 inch thick cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Don't let them get too brown or they will be too hard.
