Texas Sheet Cake
Mix:
1 cup butter melted
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa
Mix together bring to a boil. Remove from heat
Mix: Add to above mixture
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
Add:
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all the above ingredients together. Pour onto a greased and floured
cookie sheet pan or shallow pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Frost cake while warm
Frosting:
1 stick butter,
4 tablespoons cocoa,
6 tablespoons milk,
1 box powdered sugar,
1 cup chopped nuts,
1 teaspoon vanilla,
Bring to a boil first 3 ingredients. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Beat till smooth and add nuts. Frost cake while warm
