Clay, Lucy (Clays pup)& Little Red treeing
This is Clay. He will be 3 on 5-15-04 . I went down to Cartersville Ga. And picked him up when he was 6 weeks old . He is a pup out of Lavan McDaniel’s (Black Oak Kennels ) Little Bit 11 female and Delane Wilders(Lost Creek Feist ) Cody dog . These dogs have a pedigree about a mile long and both have Sport, Balwin, and Robert Kemmer blood in them just to mention a few. We spent the night with Lavan and Christine while picking up the pup and boy did they roll out the red carpet. Those blue berry muffins were yummm great Christine. Lavan drove me over to Ranburne, Al. to meet up with Delane Wilder and Mack Ledbetter. Let me say that these fellows have some fine looking dogs. Delane and Lavan took me out in the woods to watch a couple of dogs work and they did work and got treed in a hurry. If you ever hunted In Ranburne in July you know what I mean. Clay started treeing his own squirrels at 8 months and has the keenest eyes I have saw on a dog. I have used him to outcross to my females and I’m very pleased with the results of the pups I’m getting from him. D. Haris at Klondike Kennel has some dogs that are very close to him and he has good things to say about these dogs also.
