Squirrel Dogs

We are constantly looking for dogs with a long line of proven ancestor's in their pedigrees to outcross with our dogs. A few years ago we acquired our "Clay" dog, who is double bred Sport, to out cross with our old line of Feist. This out cross-worked out great for us. We are now ready to introduce something new into our dogs and have decided to use this dog. Her name is "KY-Gypsy". She has a very good pedigree with several well known dogs including the Hystyle line of feist both top and bottom. Our first breeding of "Ky Gypsy" was to our "Clay" dog. These pups were acting really well at four months of age. "Ky Gypsy" has since been bred to "Yellow Mountain Copper", a proven son of "Clay" that comes from our kennel. Three pups from the initial "Copper X Ky Gypsy" cross were treeing by the time they were six months old. My neighbor, IB Ritchie owns a pup from this first "Copper X K y Gypsy" cross, and his pup is definitely the real deal. IB killed dozens of squirrel over that little gal before she was a year old. We plan to continue breeding "KY Gypsy" back to "Copper" in the future.
