Just in case you don't know Shelley, let me tell you a little bit about her. Shelley and I had been friends since Kindergarten. I will remember her most for the way she had of always making me laugh. Shelley loved to have fun and viewed life as an opportunity to do just that. I never saw Shelley "down". She was always "up" and lifted everyone around her up as well. She was a free spirit who did what she believed in and believed in what she did. Shelley was also probably the most compassionate person I know. She regarded all living animals as part of God's family. I am sure she is busy in Paradise caring for animals now.

Because Shelley loved animals so much, I have provided links for animal adoption and animal rescue shelters. I can't think of a more wonderful way to honor Shelley than to perhaps save the life of an animal.
