STORIES!!!!!!!!
Two days after our benefit we did with Cheri, Christian, Danny, Dwayne, james and Tim, I drew caricature thanks you cards of all of them performing at the benefit. Cheri in her boa and space boots, Danny in the red coveralls, Timmy in his pin stripes and chain, and Christian in his (as danny calls it) "Lucky Charms Leprechaun greet suit. I really needed to find a way to give the cards to them before RENT left DC on sunday. My friend Erin and I were bored in rehersal one day, and I remembered that there was a special matinee performance that day. It was 3:00 already, so we started asking people if they wanted to drive to DC, and no one did. So Erin and I started collecting money to take the metro saying that we needed to finish a Government project. We collected abot 10 dollars and we were off. Erin was on a time budget and had to be back by 6:00, so we drove to the nearest Metro station and got to DC right as the show was letting out. Everyone had seemed to have left including the cast. the only person I reconized from the cast was CC Brown (i never met him until chicago). Then we looked past him and saw this swarm of girls, so we decided to look a little cloer, and it was danny!! We tried to get his attention, except there was this middle aged man who kept saying "wait your turn". We explained, "No, we know him, we just have to drop these off." Finally Dan looked up and was like "hey nunu, whats up?" We said hi, dropped off the cards, and realizing we were on a time budget turned around to leave. We then realized we didn't have enough money to get back home for the metro and parking, so we turned around and went back to the theater and said "Hey Dan, do you have any money, we need to get home?". So he takes out his worn out fish wallet and starts dumping out coins and bills into our hands. Then the whole crowd including the man, all strated giving us money asking "How much do ya'll need?". So we took the money, thanked them and ran to the metro center. We had more than enough money. We felt guilty, so we bought him a pair of those cheap cheesy colored glasses that he is so fond of, and dropped them off with Christian on Halloween. ~~~~~Nunu (Brava98@aol.com)
