RENT IN BOSTON
Rent is the best thing to hit this city,
And if you have not seen it, I give you my pity.
Luther Creek told the story as wonderful as he should,
And if Simone's voice didn't make me cry, what would?
After Sean Keller left, in came Manley Pope,
And with his great looks and talent, he filled me with hope.
The between Collins and Angel made me cry,
And with CC and Stephan, I didn't have to try.
Carrie Hamilton was always great for a laugh,
And her OTM made me sides split in half.
Joanne Jefferson, what a great part,
And with Sylvia MacCalla playing her, I took her to heart.
Rushing for RENT was a dedicated craze,
And after waiting Day and Night, the show put me in a haze.
The emotions of Seasons of Love gave me a chill,
And during La Vie Boheme, Benny needed to take a pill.
Let's not forget our favorite understudies,
Julie, Dan and Christian are funny as hell,
Thank God they are there when the cast isn't well.
Simone in Out Tonight made me marvel in Amazement,
And at the end, she made me believe she was shivering on the pavement. When Angel died, my heart broke in two,
And during La Vie Boheme, I saw Manley's way hot tatoo.
For us rushee's, at intermission, we scoured the stage,
Because those little red guitar picks were all the rage.
Luther and Manley rocked the stage in What You Own,
And Benny was always on that fucking cell phone.
"Honest Living" is what Lambert Moss would say,
But that is just one great from this fabulous play.
Carrie, could the vinyl pants be any hotter?
Even from the balcony it's easy to spot her.
At the Stage Door we only wait ahile,
But it feels great to take a picture with a smile!
My many times seeing RENT has been a joy,
And from the Souvenir shop, I have every little toy.
So many cast membe's sign their name crazy,
Like Christian's backwards or Manley's unreadable hazy.
If you are looking for Carrie, she will be on the balcony smoking,
And Dan will be with his fans having fun, joking.
Boy, did I feel like a fool,
Because watching manley always made me drool.
Dancing the tango, Running around with machines,
All the movement is just cool beans.
Every show, the energy got better,
And Luther looked great in that striped Urban Outfitter's sweater!
I can't even explain the emotions that rush to my brain,
And without RENT, I will go insane!
During One Song Glory, I wanted to tell Manley "it's okay",
But Mimi, just would not have it that way!
During Light My Candle, I love the way Manley checks out Simone's butt, But, she teased him, her stuff she liked to strut,
When maureen moons benny, Mr.Grey flips,
Then in Happy New Year, she shows up with chips!
Every Song Moves me so, "Hey, it's being snow."
To Manley, Luther and everyone else, I love you so,
And I wish you didn't have to go.
But remember Boston and your loving fans,
And hope coming back here is what the management plans.
We say goodbye to this amazing play, and in the words of Jonathan Larsen, No Day But Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RENT IN WASHINGTON DC
All the way from Boston, to DC I flew, To see the Angel Rent Cast and Crew. In the Rush Line, the time just flew, And the 25 hours seemed few. In the line, there was lots of singing and playing of the guitar,
And when we needed to go the bathroom, we drove Jeremy's car.
The next afternoon there was a soundcheck for the cast,
And as the cast went in, we took pictures and had a blast!
CC and John Eric were shocked to see the Boston crew!!
So they chatted with us for awhile, since we were only a few.
Lindsay and Elisabeth joked around with manley pope,
But just looking at him made my knee's feel like soap.
With his new haircut and sexy stance, He put me in a trance.
After the cast we had to go back into line and just sit and wait,
Because getting our front row seats at 6 would feel great!
After getting our tickets, Amy and I went home to dress,
So that when we saw the show we wouldm't look like a mess.
Getting to the theater was such a thrill, That Amy told me I should just chill! When Jim cam out, as usual we cheered veyr loud,
Then came Manley, and my head felt liek it was in a cloud!
Luther's peroxide locks looked so good with those little dreads,
But my attention was on everyone in the casts heads.
When Luther stared the show, his lisp made my heart melt,
Then the song RENT he and Manley started to belt.
During One Song Glory, my eyes never left the manley man,
Then came Light my cande, one of my favorite songs had began!
When Angel came out for Today 4 U, the crowd went wild!
then Benny cam on and whined like a child.
During Life Support, Christian made me laugh, then cry,
Then came out tonight and I screamed until I thought I would die!
Let's not forget, Dan the Awesome cop, Cuz the cheering for him will never stop I'll Cover you was such a lovely display,
CC and Stephen showed us their love would not turn grey.
Christian was the drug dealer and waled into the wall,
Even though we laughed really hard, we didn't mind at all.
Carrie left after Boston, and her OTM I will surely miss,
But Amy was so incredible that I laughed with unbelievable bliss.
La Vie Boheme, was hte most energetic company song,
And Luther was so insane, he made me laugh the whole song long!
Durign Season's of Love, I looked around adoring everyone,
And Terita and John Eric can sing, just let me tell you hon.
Take Me or Leave Me: Sylvia and Amy sound awesome together.
Oh, and Mark, you still need to call Alicia, she's your mother.
Simone and Manley in Without You still makes me cry very hard,
And Julie has a great Alexi Darling, She is such a card!
When CC sings ICY reprise, I shake at how amazing he is,
He is someone who will go far in show biz.
Luther's Halloween is so sweet it breaks my heart in two,
And at the end of What You Own, I screamed so loud, Well don't you? The end of the show: i cant explain in words how it makes me feel. I love this show because it is sooo real.
After the show, everyone is so sweet, and I love taking pics with the cast I meet
All the new cast is so much fun: Alicia and Kamilah are #1.
It seems to me, Luther is always wearing those tattered overalls,
He should be wearing those if they ever make RENT dolls.
In my picture with him, Manley looks sexy as ever!
And Christian pointed out my camara cap was not on: He is so clever!
Danny was doing the Gangsta bitch thing in our pic,
He is such a cutie, Serious pictures make him sick!
To sum it all up, this show is what I love, All the cast fits their parts like a glove! The Angel cast is the nicest most talented cast,
And my many times seeing them has been a blast!
From watching Luther skate to Dan's hilarious attitude,
Talking and watching them always puts me in a great attitude!
I thank them all for moving me in every possible way,
And making me belive in love and "No Day But Today".
