WILD HONEY

Produced by the Beach Boys

Band line-up
Mike Love
Brian Wilson
Carl Wilson
Dennis Wilson
Al Jardine
Bruce Johnston

Described by Carl as 'music for Brian to cool out by' and 'a very un-Brian album', in retrospect Brian was heavily involved compared to later albums. This album is notable in that it is the first album since Surfer Girl where the band played the majority of the instruments and in that it was the first album to feature a track (other than brief instrumentals or rewrites of other songs) written by band members without Brian. Often overlooked, this R&B flavoured album is actually a minor gem.
