E L I G H (Gas Dreams)

Album Ratings

For those familuar with the work of Living Legend member
Eligh, I shouldn't have to say much. This album is just
a progression of the musical talents of Eligh. Always hitting
ears with thought provoking content with the usual Eligh
cadence over beats that are subtle, just doing enough to
keep your head noddin' a bit.

One listen to the album's into "A Gas Dreamer's Intro", and
you will be pulled into the rythmic world which eligh creates
for this project. Other tracks that are bangin are "Lifesize
Puzzle" featuring Scarub and "Soul Man" featuring Pep Love & The
Grouch. Another song that also hits the mark is "A Lesson
Garden" feat. Del The Funkee Homosapien eventhough the chrous
could have been a little stonger.

Even though this album is full of bangers, there are a few fragile
tracks like the "Antique Remix" featuring Basik. I don't know if
this song is really that bad, but compared to the orininal off the
Righteous Bros. album this doesn't really live up to the first one.
Overall this is a great effort, especailly if you are already a
Eligh fan. (I'm still bumpin' "As They Pass")
