The Infamous...Mobb Deep released their fourth album
"Murda Muzik". After this delayed and anticipated
album the Mobb continue to represent the Q.B. with
the same murder grim. Havoc continues the
consistencey with bangin' tracks. The Mobb uses
various beats from other producers such as the
Alchemist that gives a change up of Havoc's
sometimes repetative tracks. Murda Muzik features
Big Noyd and Chinky, Cormega, Lil'Cease, 8 Ball,
Raekwon, Kool G Rap, Lil Kim, and Nas. 8-Ball,
Raekwon, and Lil Kim however are the only artist
that contribute to the enjoyment of this album.
The stand out tracks are "Streets Raised Me",
"Where Ya From", Murda Muzik", "USA aight then" and
of course the bounce of "Quiet Storm".
As a whole the Mobb successfully completed a
Gangsta Album that blends lyrical technique with
gangstaisms. I am glad to see Mobb didn't give
into the Rolex and Bentleys like fellow Q.Ber
Nas.
