This section has information on the characters on the show. Some are the main charaters and some are characters that appear on the show once or more. One character is picture he's so cute.^-^

10 Male
Ash is an ambitious 10 year old with an aspiration to become a Pokemon master and has not only
the want to be the best, but also a love for his pokemon. In the first episode, he winds up
being late to meet Professor Oak and receive his first pokemon, and finds that Bulbasaur, Charmander,
and Squirtle are all taken! Oak then gives him an usual pokemon called Pikachu. Ash soon finds
out all about Pikachu's "electric" personality, and finds himself more being owned by the stubborn
little pokemon than owning him. After failed attempts to catch more pokemon, Ash soon finds himself
chased by a flock of Spearows, which badly injure Pikachu. Ash finds Misty,
and takes her bike to get Pikachu to a pokemon hospital. The flock chases, and the bike is destroyed.
Luckily, Ash gets Pikachu to the hospital fine, and the two bond and become eternal friends in the
land of Pokemon.
10 Female
Misty is seemingly a brat, but on the inside she is really a good girl. She is nice to everyone,
except Ash. She always is bothering him about her bike, and what he's going to do to replace it.
She loves pokemon, and travelling with Ash and Brock is really what she enjoys doing. Her favorite
type of pokemon are water, and naturally, she most often uses a Starmie to fight. In the game she
is the holder of the WaterBadge.
12 Male
Brock is the older, testosterone-inflated male of the travelling trio. Every chance to see a woman
is taken up, and every chance to flirt is already done. Of course, the females are mostly bimbos,
excluding Misty, and don't take it to heart, if they even understand it. Brock's eyes never seem
to open, and it just makes you wonder how he sees these women, of course by the way the ones look
that he falls in love with, this is evident. =) Brock prefers rock and fire pokemon (Get it, Brock, rock?
Kinda like Misty and water). In the game he has the, get this, BoulderBadge.
Male
Pikachu is definately the most popular and lovable pokemon. His cuteness has captures the love
of millions of watchers and players. He is sort of a weak pokemon in the game to start out, but
becomes a strong fighter. In the cartoon, he kicks butt, and tags along outside of his pokeball
with Ash.
10 Male
Gary is the self-centered opponent to Ash. He seems to think he's the best Pokemon trainer in
the world, and so does his little herd of cheerleaders that seem to cheer him on everywhere.
Although he is very self-centered, he is a good trainer. But, he doesn't seem to really enjoy
pokemon, more just the winning and competition.
12 Female & 12 Male
Jesse and James are just two little kids stuck in a pre-teens body. They always wind up loosing
in the end, as is expected of every bad guy in the TV Wonderland(tm). Their goal, being in Team
Rocket, is to steal precious and rare pokemon, especially the powerful pikachu of Ash. Everytime
they appear in the show they say their famous poem... "Prepare for trouble, Make it double. To
protect the world from devestation, To unite all peoples within our nation. To denounce the evils
of truth and love, To extend our reach to the stars above. Jesse, James. Team Rocket blast off at
the speed of light! Surrender now, or prepare to fight."
Male
"Meowth thats right" is the first line after Jesse and James little poem. Meowth is sort of like
Pikachu in that he does not stay in a pokeball. However, meowth is a very rare pokemon who can
actually speak english (or japanese or whatever). At least Team Rocket caught one good pokemon.
Meowth is really the brains of the Team Rocket Triple, as he comes up with most of the plans, and
scratches Jesse and James into submission.
Female
Nurse Joy and all of her sisters with the same name and same look are found in nearly every town
in the land of Pokemon. She works at the Pokecenter healing hurt pokemon.
60 Male
Professor Oak is the person to call when you need pokemon info. In younger age he was a trainer
just like most others. But now in his old age, he studies pokemon, and created
the pokedex for trainers to learn info on pokemon and write info about when you come across new
pokemon. He gave Ash Pikachu.
Varies Female
Officer Jenny is your average ditzy female often found in watered-down Japanese Anime like Pokemon.
She is in most towns and just does her thing, like try to stop Team Rocket and train her Growliths.
Female
Ash's mom is just your mother figure, who wont stop asking Ash if he has clean underwear and to be safe,
etc, etc.
Female and Male
Cassidy, a longtime rival of Jessie, used to follow her around because, Jessie claims, "she was jealous because I'm more beautiful." She and her partner Butch started a Pokemon breeding center as their latest Team Rocket scam, stealing the Pokemon the trainers brought in and sending the best to the Team Rocket boss. When Ash, Misty, Brock, Todd, Jessie, and James were caught trying to respectively uncover the scam and steal Pokemon, Pikachu saved the day by retrieving Todd's camera so that Misty could show Officer Jenny the photos of what *really* happened at the Pokemon Breeding Center. Butch and Cassidy were hauled away to jail, but unfortunately so were James and Jessie.
Male
The sun glinting off the lens of Todd's camera alerted Ash to his hiding place in the grass. He tried to save everyone from the "attack" and ended up just ruining Todd's picture of Pikachu. When Squirtle flushed Todd out of hiding, he introduced himself as the number one Pokemon photo master. When he took everyone back to his house for pancakes, he showed them his prize photo: the only known picture of Aerodactyl. Ash didn't know, however, that Team Rocket had hired Todd to capture Pikachu. Todd thought they meant capturing Pikachu on film and set out to do just that. Later on Team Rocket found out Todd was a Pokemon photographer and decided to take matters into their own less-than-capable hands. When Todd saved Ash from the waterfall, it started a friendship that convinced Todd to stay with Ash, Misty, and Brock. After two episodes, Todd left for the mountains to take pictures of more Pokemon.
Male
Seems to be nicknamed Dexter. It was programmed by Professor Oak and cannot be replaced. It also serves as Ash's identification as a trainer.
Female
Ash & his friends met Duplica in the Imitéhouse, where Duplica works at to show her talents to imitate people such as Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny but her favourites are imitating are pokemon but nobody liked her act. She reveals her duplicate Pikachu as a pink, blob-like Pokémon called a Ditto. Duplica wants to be the best Ditto Master however her Ditto didn't know how to copy the faces, So it looked very weird. That is why nobody liked her shows so she quit but then Team rocket took Ditto and forced it to do a perfect transformation and it worked. At the end Duplica reopened the Imitéhouse and it was a success!
Female
A snooty, vain and absolutely beautiful girl who studies at Pokemon Tech and is the top student in her class. Her Pokemon are strong and she loves to prove it. However, she's nice underneath her arrogance.
Male
A guy who lives in a cabin in viridian Forest. He waits for trainers from Pallet to challenge them on their strengh and knowledge.
Female
A famous Pokemon breeder who used to own a shop where she helped bring out Pokemon's inner beauty. She gave Brock her Vulpix - a fashion model - so that it could become what it should.
Female
A pretty young lady who works at a large ranch, breeding Pokemon in their 'natural environments'. She's an excellent horse rider. She has a Rapidash and Growlithe.
Female
One of Misty's three older sisters. Misty's three sisters run Cerulean Gym, and Daisy seems like the 'leader' of the three. The other two's names aren't known. These three are known as the Sensational Sisters and they're excellent at water sports. They're also very pretty and a bit shallow.
Male
Bill is a Pokémon researcher. He lives in a lighthouse along the way to Vermilion City. He's been researching Pokémon for many years and even knows more about them than Professor Oak. He's been trying to communicate with a rare Pokémon and even sees it, but Team Rocket tries to catch it. The Pokémon destroys the light in the lighthouse, but Bill said he'll continue his work in meeting the rare Pokémon again.
Male
Flint was first thought of to be an old rock seller in Pewter City. It was eventually revealed that he is Brock's father. After Flint failed at being a Pokémon Master, he never came back to his family for he was too ashamed. In the end, he reveals himself to Brock and agrees to stay with Brock's ten brothers and sisters while Brock goes off on his own journey to become a Pokémon breeder.
