Wazzup!! Man this week has sucked and right now I'm bored out of my mind! Well, more out of my mind then usual I mean. This week has basically sucked. I guess I should finish up a few things I brought up in my last entry though. First off, ah yes, the pizza competition. We went down there and lost horribly, it was lots of fun! Hey, if you can't win, lose really badly. Didn't matter; I got a $20 gift certificate for warehouse music (got both Fuel cds), a free shirt, free pizza, and was paid for the whole six hours it took to drive there, make two pizzas, eat pizzas, sit around talking, and drive back. Worked a two hour shift that evening too. Who cares if I didn't win; I got a bunch of cool junk anyway! My work hired too many people now though and we aren't very busy most weekdays, so people's hours are getting cut hecka badly; everyone's pretty mad. I don't really care, but I'm the only person who doesn't roll dough or do deliveries that works 5 days next week instead of 2 or 3. They're all 3 hour shifts except one closing, but basically I'm getting the best hours cuz one manager told me the main one likes me. Mainly though cuz I work more than most everyone else and have been there a long time.

Jeff stopped acting weird I think the day after I wrote that last entry. We've been hanging out a lot and everyone thinks we're going out: everyone at work, my friends, my family, his friends....Then when we say we're not, they tell us they think we are but we don't know it yet. Interesting theory, huh? We were supposed to get dinner and see a movie last night, but Jeff got sick from food poisening, so then we were going to go tonight but I got sick from some junk I ate. I feel better now, but I wouldn't want to leave the house and suddenly feel sick again, especially since it's been going back and forth.

Alright, other reasons this has been a bad week...Wednesday was my main bad day, I woke up and hit my finger on a wall on the way out of my room, breaking my nail. I thought, 'That can't be a good sign for today.' My favorite keychain on my backpack disappeared at some point. I was going to go see the talent show that night, but my dad suggested getting pizza, so I told Becky to go buy us tickets when they went on sale and I'd meet her there. I didn't arrive till much later then I wanted to, turned out they stamped hands instead of selling tickets like they'd said, and of course they were sold out by the time I got there. The people at my pizza place were in a bad mood and wouldn't hurry. One guy that used to work there was visiting his friend, he threatened to fight me and I made the mistake of stealing his hat, something guys are very sensitive about. This guy's really big too; he picked me up, carried me out the door, then turned me upside down and held me in the air like that for a bit before letting me down. Being upside down freaks me out; I was holding on so tight when he started turning me rightside up I tore a button off his shirt after dropping the hat long ago. Another really sucky thing is my theater class decided we're not going to perform the one act play we spent the whole first semester writing and working on cuz we only had two more weeks (plenty of time) and really they didn't want to do it. Figures. One of my only chances to perform in front of whoever besides my show, which isn't till the end of the year. At least now I get to spend time in class working on that for the next two weeks. Still, I was majorly disappointed. Now my car's making noises too and really will not go fast at all; it's fitting Jeff's description of it being a 'putt-putt car'. The gas is being used way too fast too, so now I've been told by my parents not to drive it till my dad looks at it tomorrow and finds out what's wrong (hopefully). Man, I was going nuts sitting around here tonight; I can't wait till tomorrow! Agh, I'm going to go crazy, seriously! I'll be begging to go to work!

I normally don't care what's going on in the news, but a few things in California have caught my interest, neither of which, by the way, is the presidential stuff. Earlier this week, a semi purposely crashed into the state capital. It was on fire and they were evacuating it. A news bulletin about that interrupted my show; I thought it was cool though I guess I probably shouldn't. California's also going through a major energy crisis right now, so we're having "rolling blackouts". They turn off the power in certain areas for about an hour and half to conserve energy and switch off the areas that happens to. Happened here Wednesday on my bad day; got home from school and my mom told me what was going on and we had no power. I'm telling you, not having any power really narrows down your choices of what to do. So I drove around a while. That was interesting cuz the stoplights were out, so people were treating them as stopsigns and there were flares on the ground between the lanes. I was afraid I'd run over the flares and burn my tires or something, but it was alright. By the time I got home, the power was back on. Hasn't happened again yet here, but I know the blackouts are still going on.

Okay, I lied about the date, it's actually technically the 4th now since it's almost 1am, but I really don't care, it's the same day to me. Just had last week and this one off from school, man I love it! Only one more semester left and then I'm out of high school for good! Unfortunately all my friends will be leaving then too, but I'd rather not think about that. Michelle was over here for a while, and we had a heck of a lot of fun! We kept going to different malls, and we'd be in there for only a few minutes before people would be scared. One of our favorite things was pretending to talk in another language. This one guy was in front of us a while when we were doing that, then suddenly I said something like, "Hey, let's go over there." The guy had just been starting to walk away and turned to stare at us. Stuff like that is so entertaining! One night us and some of our friends all dressed-up to go out to dinner and possibly the movies, but some couldn't afford both and the restaurant was way too packed. So we ended up at good old Round Table for pizza, then rented some movies and hung out at my house watching them and playing pool till midnight. We're just not the most sophisticated people; way happier just doing more casual type stuff. Oh yeah, speaking of Round Table, my brother Matt quit. He didn't like how uptight the managers were getting and couldn't stand this bitch manager we have. What's funny is he's in there almost more now that he quit than he was when he was working there. I can't say many people there really missed him. He was going to go back too but then heard our manager said "I knew he'd come crawling back," so he prefers to be proud and unemployed. Hey, whatever floats your boat!

Today was my friend Jeff's birthday, so we went bowling with his best friend and Becky this morning. Man that was fun! It was hecka entertaining just watching Jeff's reaction to his good or bad shots; he seemed to end up on the floor for either one. Jeff's been acting kinda weird lately though. He surprised me by buying me a Christmas present: a little penguin that opened up and had earrings inside. We were hanging out a ton last week since he was off work, and it was a lot of fun. But since he went back to work this weekend he's been acting kinda weird and won't talk to me much, I don't know what's up, probably won't find out either.

Anyway, ah yes, the two recent holidays. Christmas was alright, we opened our presents Christmas Eve after I got off work (yes I had to work X-mas Eve along with most other people there and it sucked). I generally got penguin stuff and stuff for my car, then on Christmas more penguins and about $60 from my relatives. Me and my bros also got a DVD player (and some DVDs) and a ton more N64 games. New Years Eve I had to work too, then went home, we all watched X-men on DVD, that lasted till a quarter to midnight, at midnight we drank sparkling cider, and I stayed up till 4:30am for the hell of it basically just chillin and being lazy; had to play with my cat too cuz she wouldn't let my go to bed otherwise. Slept in till 2. Unfortunately, the managers at my work aren't the smartest people, so we were short-staffed the day after X-mas and New Years Day. They were both as busy as our Fridays normally are (busiest day of the week), but instead of 3-6 of us making the pizzas and stuff, it was me and one other person. Now I work tomorrow thru let's see, I think Tuesday's my next day off. Saturday I'm in this pizza-making competition. Yes, a pizza-making competition, each Round Table picks two people from their store to compete in this big thing, a bunch from the area compete, then the winners go on to a trip to L.A. where you can win something like $900. It's judged on speed and how good the pizza looks. I'm a chosen one, I guess that would be cuz they never assign me to anything but making pizzas in the whole 7 monthes or so that I've worked there, or I very rarely do anything else anyway, bout every other month I do register, but that's it. Anyway, I was supposed to close Friday night (which is till about midnight), go back there Saturday morning at about 8 to drive to Chico for the tournament, then work till close again that night. My manager asked what I wanted to do though, so now I work till 9 or 10 Friday, then close Saturday if I feel like it. Should be interesting. I have stuff due for school too that I haven't worked on at all over this break and barely started before it. There's two English assignments, one I won't do cuz it's not specified so I don't have to and shouldn't affect my grade anyway since I've gotten a B on every single assignment in that class (getting an A in that class, which is honors by the way, is impossible for me, I'm much too lazy), and the other should be easy. The main thing I'm kinda worried about is I'm supposed to have the rough draft for my one person show done. Ha! I've barely started that! I have more ideas for it and know more specifically what's going to happen in it, but writing it is a whole other story. Fortunately, I doubt even half the people in there have their's finished (I'm hoping anyway), it's doubtful that will have a big impact on my grade if any, and the teacher hates me already, so who cares. Enough typing now, I've got to get to bed so I can get up and go shopping and blow my paycheck before work tomorrow.

Yes, I decided to actually update this site again. Been really busy lately. Actually, I don't even know why I'm spending time doing this when I have a couple of huge projects due soon for school that I've barely started, but whatever. I got my own car about a month ago, 89 Ford Mustang, only 4-cylinder but it's a convertable, darker red with white top. Me and some friends drove around once after seeing a movie with the top down, it was so fun! Cold though, and that was before it even got as cold as it is now. I found the perfect bumper sticker too that I put in the back window: 'One by one the penguins steal my sanity.' Beautiful isn't it? My work moved to a new location, much nicer place. My immediate reaction was, "This isn't Round Table, this is a nice restaurant!" A lot bigger too, going to have a drive-thru sometime once they get it running. It's a lot busier too, but I can get major hours there, good after they were cutting back and sending people home early at the other place. Some new people added now; I get along good with them though too. They have the other place temporarily open doing almost no buisness with just managers running it. My friend Jeff's stuck over there too, which sucks, but everyone else is at the new place. One of our last nights at the old place, an annoying manager that hits on anything remotely female, stuck a sign on Jeff's back that said 'Hard at work' since he doesn't work very much normally. Matt (my brother - there are three Matts total working there now, all friends of mine) got annoyed with him and decided to get Jeff back by putting a sign on the manager's back that said 'Caution: Pervert.' This guy came in to get a pizza, saw it, and started laughing. We were all laughing too while the guy tried to keep a straight face; he thanked us on his way out for the entertainment. Our manager still hadn't noticed when we left a bit later, and no one told him. It was great! I think I hear my homework calling me (now I know I didn't get enough sleep last night!).

Wow, already updating again! I got in an accident this morning on my way to school. It was pouring rain, we were on this hill alongside our school where there's always a huge line of traffic, and my brakes wouldn't work, so I hit the car in front of us. Our car was totaled; we ran over our own bumper when I pulled over to the side of the road, the front of the car was all smashed, and pieces of our hood were on the other car. I'd hit a car with a couple of students in it who were really nice and drove us down to the school to call my mom. The first thing the driver of the car I hit asks me: "Are you okay?" First thing my mom asks after I told her what happened: "Why didn't you use the emergency brakes or pump them?" Like I'm automatically going to think to do that; my first thought was to turn and try to avoid the car, which didn't work in the two seconds I had. The other car was fine though after I brushed the pieces of our car off; I guess there were two tiny scratches on it, but it was like nothing. I made a lot of people late too; heard an announcement that due to an accident on the hill to excuse anyone who came in late. Hey, I'm finally making a difference!

10/25/00

Well, homecoming was okay, not as good as I'd thought though. That guy friend of mine asked me to the dance again, but since I prefered to go alone than with him, I told him I was going with my friend Jason, and did actually go by myself, which was fine cuz a lot of my friends went too. I went with Becky and our friend she was going with, Bryan, to Applebees before the dance, which was cool. The dance itself was alright, pretty good music and everything, but it would have been a lot better if I hadn't been avoiding my friend I turned down who followed me all night and his date, who no one else likes and danced like an idiot all night. I mean, I can understand if people can't dance well, but she totally thought she could and got all into it, and man it was scary! We all were trying to avoid them, and they didn't get a clue. Except apparently the guy told Becky today he noticed me and her avoided him there; I walked up then and saved her from having to answer him, and he didn't ask me.

Work's been pretty fun, weekday nights get completely dead. We've played a few tricks on some annoying people. One girl went outside right by the door, and our friend Adam yelled that she was a bitch. She turned and looked, so we were like "did she actually hear that?" I said maybe she just saw us all looking over there, so we decided to test it. Us and my brother Matt all stared till she looked, then burst out laughing, still looking at her, then walked away. It was so funny! I think Adam told her we were just messing with her though. Another night I made a sign for an irritating guy that said "Kick me, I suck", and our manager struck up a conversation with him and stuck it on his back without him noticing. He was walking around like that for a half hour. Me and the other manager kept busting up, but the guy would just laugh along and be like "I don't think I like this joke." He finally caught on when he walked by another guy who also doubled over laughing, so he discovered the sign. The other night we were throwing sticky balls at eachother and getting into these party hats and party favors in back, so that was hecka fun too, our manager thought we were nuts. Gotta get my bros now or I'd write more, but oh well.

10/9/00

Man, homecoming's coming up at my school, next week to be exact. Normally that's a good thing: extended lunches, dress-up days, rally, big game, dance. It's that last part that's giving me a problem though. I spent all day Saturday shopping for a dress for homecoming and working, found the perfect one though and it didn't even cost that much. Problem is, I still don't have a date. I was planning to go with my friend Matt from my work, but he said he doesn't like those social type events, so he doesn't want to go. Damn, thing is I have extremely bad luck with guys at my school, the absolute worst, they either have girlfriends or they're jerks, not including my guy friends though. One of them asked me a few weeks ago, but I told him I'd probably go with someone from my work from another school, I didn't want to go with him anyway, so I don't regret telling him that, I just want to find a date now! Don't see how that'll happen. Anyway, sorry to go off on that, just the main thing going through my head lately. I have a feeling also that I'm going to be sick Thursday....too sick to go to work....just not so sick I can't go see my friends in the lip sync contest. I tried to get people to change shifts with me to have that day off, but the three people who weren't working wouldn't or couldn't, so I'll just have to be sick. Same for another guy at my work who's in the show. I feel bad for doing this, but my friends are either going or in it, so I'm not gonna miss it for work. They'll survive, we've seen much worse.

10/5/00

Okay, I have about five minutes now to update this before I go pick up Matt and Mike from school. Obviously I changed the front of my page, wanted to decorate it for Halloween. Not that I'm satanic or anything, just like Halloween stuff. I also changed my email address cuz hotmail's about as stupid as angelfire and apparently was deleting some of my emails. Work this last weekend was hecka busy and it was especially bad cuz everyone's been getting sick around here and people were having to miss work. Sunday night was the worst; a few people called in sick, then my friend Matt had to go home early cuz he was too sick to stay. That left us with three delivery people who were barely in the building, a manager, and four employees. So there were only me and Adam making all the millions of pizzas people were ordering, plus they kept telling us to remake some that it turned out didn't need to be remade after all. We got some more new people yesterday, and this one guy was really making me mad, already was acting like he knows everything and treating me like I'm stupid, I guess he's worked there or at another Round Table before. Oh yeah, my brother Matt's been working there a while now, I get totally confused with him and the other Matt. We decided our friend is Matt #1 or "The Other Matt" and my bro is Matt #2 or Matt R. He gets along with everyone though, is already part of our circle there with me and my friends, everyone's surprised we're siblings and get along so well. That's all for now, I'll scan more pics on here soon hopefully.

9/20/00

Oh my gosh, I actually updated the Round Table penguin story, forget what it's called right now.

Man I've been busy still, obviously since this hasn't been updated for three weeks now. I like being busy though, enjoy the little free time I get a lot more, and work's not bad. My brother Matt's getting a job there now too; he's getting trained today and starts really working Friday. I went in there on a Sunday I had off and was hanging out talking to my friend Matt there (that's gonna get confusing with two Matts) for a while. Then a ton of orders started coming in and my other good friend Adam was the only one making pizzas. I felt really bad for them and ended up coming back in to work; would've felt way bad leaving them like that. Good thing too, another rush came and only one other guy was making pizzas besides me, we got em done together though. Then it got way slow hecka early, so I got to goof off and just chill with my friends while doing easy tasks there the rest of the night, had the radio on and everything, it was so fun.

Last Saturday really sucked though. Matt had an incident with the tomatoes and got juice on the floor, but I didn't hear him, even though Adam did. So I was going to put a pizza in the oven, my feet flew out from under me, and next thing I knew I was sitting hard on my ass in a lot of pain with the pizza on the ground. I was pretty stunned while everyone asked if I was okay till Adam said, "Someone help her up!" I couldn't get up on my own, so Matt pulled me up, and I went and sat down for a bit till tons of orders were coming in with just Adam making them, just like Sunday, so I went back over to help. I wasn't feeling good before, so after that I really felt bad, was struggling not to puke on the pizzas, but they really needed help, so I stayed. My tailbone was hurting all night and that happened at the start of my shift when I was closing; it really sucked, especially after my friends left. I guess I hurt my right arm somehow too cuz my shoulder's been sore since then, but I'm better now.

On a more positive note, I went up a level at my work (which is a promotion), plus we raised our starting rate so more people would apply there, both things which made my pay go up, plus they decided to give me a bit more for staying through all the bad times in August and staying late when they needed help, so I'm getting a whole 50 cents more now. Also cuz of my promotion I got a coupon for a free pizza of any size or type, so last Wednesday me, Bryan, Matt, Emily, and Becky all went to get pizza there, hung out for two hours there. Emily really scared Matt, he was telling me later she's crazy. That was a ton of fun!

We're starting a play in theater for this festival/contest thing in February. It's a soap opera thing a class wrote 4 or 5 years ago that we're re-writing. I was thinking "what's the smallest part in there?" and that was the part I got. It and Emily's part are both so unimportant we orginally cut them out but she had to add them back in cuz we cut too many and didn't have enough. I'm a totally pathetic waitress at a cafe run by drug dealers who's in love with one of the drug dealers even though he's a complete jerk to me, then he pushes me too far and I help his daughter rescue a girl they kidnapped. Thank goodness we're writing it ourselves; now I can actually have lines written in, we wrote the rescue scene yesterday and I have some good funny lines the girl we save came up with. One of my friends who kept insisting our teacher doesn't hate me like I say she does decided to prove me wrong and asked her why I didn't get a bigger part in it. She told him she wants to "work with me more" before giving me a bigger part. He now agrees she does hate me. I've been in theater four fricken years now, and she hasn't tried to "work with me" once! What the heck have I been taking theater for? Geez! Anyway, too bad for her, I still have my one person show and don't care what she thinks anyway.

9/1/00

Finally got some free time to update this. School's good, fairly amusing to me, and all my teachers are cool, most of them are funny, that always makes class better. I'm taking physics, honors english, econ/gov, spanish 4, pre-cal, and theater. I was in ROP electronics, but they put me in the advanced one I can't be in, so I had to drop it, couldn't take the right one either, which is fine cuz I was thinking it'd be boring anyway. Now I get to go home early too every day cuz that was my last two periods. Good thing too, that's the only free time I have now cuz I've been working 4-9 all this week. The really sucky thing is all my good friends there only work weekends now, so I get stuck with boring or annoying people all week. One guy got fired the other day cuz he stole all the twentys, checks, and everything in that section of a register, they threatened to call the cops and get a lie dectector and stuff, so I guess he had to come forward and give it back. Now we're even more short-handed, last night especially and we were busy, the supervisor bought me and the other guy making pizzas and everything a large half-and-half whatever we wanted, that was great! Tonight some of my friends will finally be working again, and all of them will tomorrow, that'll be fun! Me, Bryan, and Matt have an alliance formed. The show Survivor became a big thing around here after the last episode (I never saw any though); if you haven't heard of it, they had people on this island and they voted eachother off, the last person left got a million dollars, that's the main gist of it I guess. Anyway, our alliance has this new thing where we vote people off the work island, two very annoying ones gone so far. No one else even knows about it, but we have fun saying stuff like, "That's it, they're off the island!" anyway.

Back to school stuff, one of my lunches sucks cuz it's just me and Becky, which gets boring after a bit, I left about 10 min into that lunch today cuz it started to rain, and the window on the drivers side of my car won't roll down. Dangit, why's it raining anyway, it's not supposed to rain for another 3 monthes at least! Been cold and cloudy all week, I gotta go get more warm clothes this weekend, three days off too, yes, more free time and shopping! Oh, what I was saying, my other lunch is awesome! All of my friends have it, we have a lot of fun goofing-off, especially since it's between theater and going home, so I'm pretty hyper about then. Ugh, Dumbass, that jerk who told lies about me last year to everyone saying I'm stalking him (yeah right!), then stared at me and I was told by an ex-group member knew where I was at all times, still watches me, especially during that lunch, which unfortuneately he also has, and one of his old friends has been giving me weird looks tood, man some people are just seriously messed-up and conceited! Speaking of which, we've been trying to ditch this girl in our group who no one likes cuz she's hecka conceited, boring, annoying, etc. I know it sounds mean, but not if you'd met her. She is so hard to ditch! Me, Jason, and Becky plan ways to avoid her, but she seems to have some sort of radar that she tracks Jason with (he's the one she talks to). We've been successful a few times, but geez! It's better than last year though. Now to pick up my brothers in the rain, I can try to try to update this again soon, but I don't know, I do want to add more pics on here I got of us, but I'll just have to see how much time I get again.

8/21/00

Well, I'm back from my vacation and 17 now, woo-hoo! Thanks Michelle, Tony, and Becky for the happy birthdays on your pages, I feel so special now! He he, anyways, our trip was pretty cool. Disneyland had a few cool things, but for the most part you'd have to be younger to really enjoy it. Plus it was really hot and I had to hear my youngest brother, Paul, whine the whole time. Universal Studios was hecka cool though! They had a 3D Terminater 2 thing that was the best, a live show of Waterworld with lots of explosions and stuff, and a bunch of other things. They had things to keep you cooler there too, which was really nice. We went there on my birthday, good day to go there and have fun. Our hotel was nice, but I had to sleep on the sofa bed with Paul on a chair right next to me, and man he snores loud! Soon as he starts falling asleep his breathing gets loud, then becomes snores that just get louder and louder. If we were in the car he'd give a really loud snore, choke, and wake himself up, but laying down he wouldn't choke so he wouldn't wake up and I had a lot of trouble sleeping. One night he went sleep-walking too outside our hotel room, the door locked automatically behind him, and he woke up out there, had to keep knocking till my mom went to the bathroom, went to check on him, didn't see him, and let him in.

Meanwhile, while we were gone, my two older bros, or should I say Joe, had a party, which was pretty much expected, the only rule was "no beer cans in the fish tank". We came home and there were beer stains (or puke stains, not sure which) on the carpet, two of Joes friends crashed in my room, so I had to remake the bed and straighten things up in there, and when I went out in the garage I found an inflatable chick in a bikini on the ground. That was so hecka funny, I started laughing so hard I had to sit down! They claimed one of Joe's friends brought it over. Sure....one of his friends....right....I believe that.... My mom wasn't in too good of a mood, Joe got chewed out, so he went back to his place.

Today was cool, three of my friends (Becky, Jason, and Emily) came over for my birthday (no one else could). We had a lot of fun, watched a tape of us on New Years Eve, which terrified Emily, played Monopoly, watched some movies, and goofed off a ton, as always. After Jason had to leave, Emily had me get out my old Barbies so she could make the two Kens cross-dress. Ha ha, that was interesting, we came up with some great gay outfits for them, just don't ask. Man, school starts the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, dangit! I gotta start working again the day it starts for the rest of the week too, gonna be interesting to see if I can keep up with it, but at least I won't get bored!

8/14/00

Saturday work was actually really slow, they brought in another worker from the other Round Table, and it happened to be a girl who was in our group at school but graduated the year before last. I hadn't talked to her in a year, so that was nice. Work was hecka busy yesterday again, probably as bad as Friday was, only me and Matt were making pizzas. We were so busy last night and Friday our manager took all the phones off the hook so when people called they got a busy signal. Tonight it wasn't that it was that busy, just that with so few people it got backed up. The manager tonight gets mad easily, and I've been screwing up lately, so I kept ticking him off. At one point he told us all we couldn't talk till all the orders were done and everything was cleaned and stocked, thought it'd make us work faster. That didn't last all that long, but man was that annoying, took all the fun out of working! Fortunately he's quitting, put in his two week notice a while ago, so I shouldn't have to work with him again. I went shopping before work today, needed some more clothes for school and found some, that was cool. I'm going on vacation tomorrow morning, only one we've had since I was about five. We're going to LA and spending three days at Disneyland and one at Universal Studios, driving down so we'll be in the car forever. The funny thing is ever since we last went there (when I was five), our parents have been telling us, "We'll go this year....No we can't, we'll go next year....Yeah we're going this year....No, we'll wait till next year," always some reason like we couldn't afford it or they wanted to wait till Paul was old enough to remember it, etc. This was the first year they never said we'd go, and now we are. It figures, but I'm glad, it'll be fun, plus I definitely need a break from work! Speaking of which, I still gotta pack and it's almost midnight, going to be very tired tomorrow I can already tell.

8/12/00

Man, there's been quite a bit going on here. Okay, first off, my cousin, or rather second cousin, who's my age and lives in Oregon was visiting for a couple of days, her name's Carmen, and pretty much everyone thinks she's hot, showed how messed up our relatives are at the family reunion. Her family's really rich, and she's an only child so she's hecka spoiled rotton, I thought it was pretty boring to talk to her cuz she's superficial. I would never want to look like her, you'd never know if someone really liked you for you or just cuz they liked how you look and wanted something else. Wouldn't really want to be that rich either, spending money is the only thing that makes her happy, I don't care at all about money and am extremely easy to please, much happier life like that. Anyways, she went to the mall with us, then I went to San Fransisco with her to go shopping the day after, and that wasn't too fun. We like the opposite types of clothing stores: I go to ones where it costs about $10 for a shirt and there's stuff I like, she goes to ones where you can't get a shirt for under $50. San Fransisco there were some shirts that were around $250, just for a fricken shirt! She had $700 to spend and used it all on something like two outfits, it was rediculous. I didn't buy anything, why waste my money like that? San Fransisco was cool though just to see, haven't been there for a while, there were quite a few bums begging for money, some which would sing, and I actually heard a gay guy in a girl clothing store talking to a male sales clerk with a major lisp saying stuff like, "This looks so good....Oh I know!....It's just so nice!" That was hella funny!

I got my schedule from the school for this year, and they actually didn't screw up on it like they did just about everyone else's! Got all the classes I wanted, have top priority since I'm a senior and have great grades. Saw some of my friends there, but had to leave before they got their's, plus they need them changed, so I don't know if they're in my classes or have my lunches yet. Had to get a new work permit too, we're all supposed to get them renewed again the first week of school, but they screwed up the expiration date on mine and made it August 27, 2001. Excellent, I won't even need a work permit anymore then cuz I'll be 18! Speaking of which, my birthday's less than a week from now, finally turning 17.

Work kinda sucks lately. A ton of people quit to work at the new mall, including ones I'd become friends with and a guy I'd really been starting to like who doesn't go to my school or anything. We did get another new guy though named Matt who I became friends with his first day there. Sunday we were hecka busy, no one believes me when I say Sundays are busier than Saturdays, but trust me, they are. Something about church that makes everyone want to go out and party at Round Table Pizza. We had about six people working that night and I was the only one actually making the pizzas, everyone else helped when they could but had to do other things that were more important. I was late yesterday cuz I started feeling really sick as I was getting ready for work and it slowed me down a lot, then my idiot brother Joe made me late today. He'd been working on his car out front and left our phone on the car me and Mike share. I didn't notice it, turned a sharp corner a few blocks from our house, heard a clatter, and didn't think anything of it. I was stopped at a light after the corner, and this lady came up to my car and told me, "You dropped a phone back there at that corner." I was like "what the hell, what phone, how could I have dropped a phone?" did an illegal U-turn, and sped back. A car was just going over the phone, the tires barely missed it, I ran in the street, got it, and sped back home. It still worked, which was good cuz I had to use it to call and say I'd be a few minutes late, then sped over to my work. Good thing I didn't run into any cops! Everyone at my work, including our manager, got a good laugh out of that one! Tonight I think was the busiest I've seen it, we had tons and tons of orders, solid stream of em from about 5-9:30, didn't really slow down till around 10, and only three people making pizzas, the other two are newer as well so they're still kinda slow. I was supposed to get off at 9 but didn't even get my break till an hour later, ended up staying till close and got home after midnight. That was okay, cuz I wanted more hours anyway, but man my back and especially my shoulder have been killing me! Anyway, should probably go to bed now since it's 2:30am after all, I am pretty tired, wanted to update though since it's been a while, so yeah, that's all for now.

7/30/00

Well, I'm still sitting around here being lazy and watching movies all night. Got my dad joining me and my little brother in doing that now too. Work the other night, two of the guys there, Justin and mainly Jonathan, stuck a bag of potato chips through the oven. I saw it when it came out, a little clump of burned foil or whatever with some chips, it was pretty funny. Our manager didn't think so though; he was going off about it the rest of the night, saying it was toxic and he was going to kill the person who did it. He asked Justin, who said he didn't know, then asked around and naturally everyone told him it was almost certainly Jonathan, who always put things through the ovens and melts things. That made him even angrier cuz Jonathan had already gotten in trouble that night for writing "Justin sucks" as a joke in marker on one of the counters and it wouldn't wash off. Justin got chewed out by him for telling the manager it was him when he asked, so he wasn't going to do that again and instead told him that it couldn't have been Jonathan cuz he'd been cleaning the bathrooms for ages, when really it had been about two minutes. I was easily amused by all of it.

We got a new guy at work again. I already knew him, gone to school with him for years and he's friends with Matt and Mike. His name's Jordan, but for some reason Jessica thought it was Peter, so now we'll probably all just call him that for fun. Jessica and Jonathan somehow for some reason decided my new name is Cream Cheese. Don't ask, cuz I don't know, but it's yummy on bagels and sandwiches! Before we got busy at all a few days ago, Tony was on the phone with his mom and I was on the phone next to him with a customer, excuse me, I mean "guest", which is what we're supposed to call them, but if they were really guests, why would they have to pay for their food? Anyway, we have this thing at work: Shnarf! It's the noise a face would make if it could. Don't ask, don't tell. Or something. Anyways, I was on the phone, and Tony kept leaning towards me and loudly saying "Shnarf!" The customer (who cares what my managers say anyway?) heard him and was like, "What was that noise?" I was trying not to laugh too hard, had to explain why my co-worker is so psychotic and deranged after all. He's only working there three more days this coming weekend, then he's quitting, which sucks. I actually get three days off this week, these next three here, all in a row so I'll have plenty of time to go out of my mind. Well, moreso anyway.

7/27/00

Like the new graphic on my front page? Thanks for sending me that Michelle, yes I obviously like it! I gotta get ready for work in a second here, just wanted to update this real quick instead of waiting another week or so like I have been lately. Yesterday sucked, I found out this guy I like has a girlfriend, definitely not a good thing for me, first time I'd seen him all summer too. Work's been okay. Last week we had this huge debate going between everyone (before it got busy) about trusting people, some people there don't believe in trusting anyone but themselves, and were arguing with me and my friend Tony, who generally trust people. The girl, Jessica, who was the main one arguing with us, was like, "Well, apparently you guys haven't been screwed over enough times," but really when have we not been screwed over? It ended up being a one-on-one argument between me and Jessica at some point cuz I was sticking up for Tony, which I realized after everyone was watching and now they probably think I like Tony or something when really we're just good friends. I don't care what they think anyway though, we know the truth.

Besides work, I've been generally being lazy lately; we've been digging up these really old tapes from when we were kids and seeing what's on them. We've watched both of the first Batmans after seeing the third one (my fav) on TV about a week ago, then saw this ancient cartoon movie we used to watch as kids, Flight of the Dragons. It was incredibly fun to mock, I can't believe we even liked it, the characters give all these boring monologues like Shakespeare, then defeat the bad guy in the end by reciting scientific facts. We also found a bunch of old cartoons taped: Gummi Bears, Pouchy, Carebears, the Letter People, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and some other stuff. We didn't really watch those, just looked to see what was on there and laughed at it, it was pretty fun, running late getting ready for work now, so that's all folks!

7/24/00

Okay, I know I've been slacking off on updating this, just lazy I guess, don't have as much time to go on my computer anymore. I keep having to work at 4 and since I always stay up hecka late I'm normally up and ready to go by noon, which gives me about 3 hours before I have to get ready for work. They keep giving me two days off in a row too so I get bored out of my mind around here, then work 5 days in a row. Today's my day off finally; I've been so tired lately I actually didn't wake up till one in the afternoon, needed the extra sleep there, but that was kinda weird. I've been spending the day being lazy watching all three Scream movies (the third one's playing now). Mike rented them cuz he wants to take this girl to see Scary Movie and she never saw Scream.

Anyway, Michelle left last Sunday. It sucked cuz I had to work the night before, but she went sailing with my dad and brothers, then they all came by at the end of my shift for pizza there, so that was cool. My finger's better, so it's back to putting the toppings on the pizzas. Last night sucked; we were short-handed and every time a ton of orders would come in I'd be the only one making pizzas. I ended up staying an extra 1 1/2 hrs cuz it took that long to do my closing duties with all the orders. For some reason a lot of people like to have parties at Round Table Sunday nights. Now I have to deal with people over the phone too, and believe me, we get some of the stupidest calls. Like one lady called and asked "which is cheaper, two mediums or two larges?" What the hell do you think is cheaper? My impression: which is cheaper, a personal pizza or ten larges? Oh, the larges definitely. Then this guy called last night when it was hecka busy, I just grabbed the phone on the way to get a large pan. He kept me on the phone forever asking a ton of stupid questions, then finally decided not to get anything after all, man that ticked me off! Go ahead, waste my time when we're hecka busy and I'm already late getting out, what do I care? Okay, I'm done complaining now, this is my pointless life right now. No, actually I do like my job, it keeps me busy, better than going nuts of boredom at home.

7/14/00

Man it's been a while since I've had a chance to update! We got back from that family reunion in Connecticut Monday night. It kinda sucked at first, then got better. The plane flights kinda sucked cuz it took 10 hrs to get there and even longer to get back home cuz of some delays, so that got boring. The reunion was at this religious retreat place with a dorm for the guys and one for the girls, where I shared a room with my cousin. Our first day there, we went to this aquarium type place. They had penguins there, a type that likes heat I guess. When I was over there, one seemed to know I was plotting against them, jumped up on this rock like it was trying to get the others' attention, then waddled away into a cave when they ignored him, probably coming up with some evil scheme. Afterwards we went to this place where you could go inside a submarine set up for tours. That night there was a huge storm while we were all inside playing cards with rain, thunder, and tons of lightening. That was the worst 4th of July I've ever had; the lightening was our only fireworks except for a display we saw the Saturday before that wasn't nearly as good as usual.

We went to a beach the day after that in Rhode Island with some boogy boards. That was pretty fun, though I got pulled under one of the waves unexpectedly and gulped some nasty salt water, took a while to get that out of my system. We buried Paul and a cousin in the sand except for their heads, and didn't leave the beach till towards evening. Things really got better when one of my cousins showed up. We were walking around and stuff, then she went over and introduced herself to the group of people our age that Mike was hanging out with, which was all guys with one other girl. We stayed with them the rest of the night, so I went back and hung out with them the rest of the time there. I learned something about my relatives from the trip: they're all a bunch of druken potheads, adults too, not just the younger group. Our group drank every night and some of them smoked, pot too till the guy who had it left early. Even after Mike told them I don't drink, they continued offering stuff to me, and when I kept refusing showed me how to mix drinks instead. They were fun to hang out with though and mostly only did that stuff at night, so it was cool. I became good friends with my cousin Jimmy, who's in his early twenties I think, has a really cool Camero, and was hecka friendly to me and stuff. We're going to keep in touch still.

Anyway, Friday we got up at 4 AM to go deep sea fishing along Rhode Island. We used some sort of tiny fish and some nasty squid guts as bait. About an hour into the trip, which lasted 5 hrs, I started to feel really sick, not quite seasick cuz I wasn't nausous or anything, just my stomach hurt really bad. So I got to spend the rest of the time inside the cabin area laying down reading, napping a bit, and talking to Jimmy when he came in cuz he was the only one not catching fish (our area on the boat sucked). I took some medicine when we got on the bus to go back, and felt better by the time we arrived. A few of the guys were playing catch with a football, so when I joined them they showed me how to throw one right (something I've never been taught though I love sports). It was pathetic how bad I was at first, but I picked it up quickly, my throws were good (they could actually catch them), and I caught the ball practically ever time. We couldn't get enough people to play a real game though, which was too bad cuz they were seriously going to make me quarterback. That was a lot of fun - except near the beginning while I was still learning I sprained another finger, my middle one this time. Didn't hurt too much and my mom had a splint for it anyway.

Saturday there were a lot of family competitions going on, one of which was volleyball. I insisted on playing, though my mom didn't much like that idea at first with my hurt finger, and still did well. We formed our team, practiced whenever we could get the court, and were already creaming some of the other teams. We ended up forming two teams right before playing, won our first game, and found out we would play our other team next. We were really looking forward to kicking their asses, especially since this one really annoying guy was on there who's always telling everyone how to play and acts like he's the best was on there. However (knew there had to be some catch huh?) one of my cousins wanted to go back to her hotel where she was staying to change cuz her outfit was uncomfortable, and this lady with the clipboard keeping track of the games said we wouldn't be playing for a really long time, and hour or hour and a half, so Jimmy offered to take her and me and Mike went along for the ride. We were all on the same team (except my cousin who wasn't playing), were gone for 35 minutes tops, came back, and were told we'd forfeited cuz we'd missed our game. Man that was so screwed up! They were the ones who told us the wrong time, plus they could've just postponed the game some and had some of the other teams go first, but that annoying guy was like, "They're not here, that means they forfeit!" It really sucked, think the rest of our team was ready to kill us too.

We left that place Sunday morning to stay with some relatives in Massachusettes, who happened to live near Jimmy. So me and Mike rode there in his camero, music blaring, windows down, just racing along, then we all went to this three story mall there. Jimmy left early to take a nap, we went and got ice cream, then were going to meet up with him again to do something. Back where we were staying, the ice cream and other junk I ate finally caught up with me and I felt like puking, but ended up going with Mike and Jimmy when he came anyway. We weren't sure where to go, stopped by the movie theater, and found out the movie we all wanted to see, Scary Movie, was starting in 3 minutes. We even managed to get in before the previews started. Man that movie was funny! Some really sick parts, but definitely funny, I especially like the beginning and end. By the end Id been laughing so much that every time I'd laugh my stomach would hurt again. It was still fun though, even made it back right at the time our mom had wanted us there.

We got back home here Monday night after our delayed flight and Mike got in a little accident with the car we both mainly use, further screwing up our already junky car. Michelle's been on leave from the Airforce all week, so I've kept busy hanging out with her before she goes back Sunday. Tuesday we went to the school together to get Matt and see some friends. Ha ha, I pointed out one of them to her, so she yelled her name, our friend yelled back, and they both rushed to the center of the ampitheater hugging and squealing while everyone outside stared and commented loudly. I got a good laugh out of that one! We spent most of the day after that shopping, first at some individual stores, then the mall. That night we went to get pizza from my work, but none of our friends could go, so Paul and Joe went instead. For once they weren't annoying or anything; we hung out there for over an hour, even after the food was gone, and I went over and talked to a few of my friends there that I hadn't seen for a while. After that we couldn't think of anywhere to go (aren't too many places around here), so me, Michelle, and Joe just cruised around in the car for a while, eventually stopping in front of Michelle's to talk to her sister outside. The night after that we went with some of my brothers and some of our friends to go see Scary Movie again, since I'd promised we'd all go see it together. Michelle bought all our tickets (she's the only one of us over 17) while the rest of us except Matt (who looks old enough) stepped aside, and managed to get away with it without them checking all our IDs (picky movie theater).

Yesterday Michelle had a BBQ at her house with her family, my brothers, and two friends, Jason and Cedric. We played Goldeneye on her N64 a while, then just hung out waiting for the food. The hamburgers were really thick, and, it turned out, not quite done. Michelle noticed something oozing out of it, wondered if it was blood or ketchup, squeezed it, and a little puddle of blood was formed on her plate. We all kinda lost our appetite after that. The rest of the time we all just hung out in their living room being lazy and flipping through channels on the TV till I had to leave early for my first day back at work.

Work yesterday went well. Because of my finger, the only thing they could have me do was the cash register, which is one of the more advanced things you learn there, when I'd been trained for absolutely nothing except making pizzas. It wasn't too hard, especially since I pick up on things easily, just a lot of stuff, lot more fun than what I normally do though, plus I got to stand around doing nothing a while. Michelle, Jason, and Cedric came in to see me too; I talked to them when there was nothing to do, then went on my break while they were there and joined them. I found out some bad news there though; one of my closest friends there that I made, Tony, is getting a new job somewhere else, so he won't be working here much longer. Man that's going to suck! Nothing I can do about it though.

7/2/00

Friday sucked. I went to pick Matt up from summer school, went in to see my friends, and none went that day. Dumbass was there though; he was at a table right in the front of the school and I didn't notice him till after I'd passed him and happened to look over. I told Matt he was there and described him, so Matt was watching him as we left the school. We were heading toward the car when I turned around, since Matt was behind me and I was talking to him, and saw Dumbass watching me. I told Matt that and he replied, "Dude, he's hella been staring at you this whole time!" That jerk's really got problems, spreading lies about me stalking him, then staring at me. Work that night really sucked too. Jonathan and that other guy, Scott, who I caught talking about me a while back (he's been on vacation for a week or two) spent the entire night making fun of me, worse than they usually do. My friends there left earlier too, so I had no one on my side. Ended up whacking Jonathan with a broomstick while sweeping; hey, I can only take so many insults in one night. Was in a good mood before going there too, and it was really weird cuz me and Jonathan had been becoming friends the night before. I had to clean the bathrooms for my closing duty (got the guy showing me how to do all the nasty stuff for me), and this girl had written 'I love Josh. From: Christina' in lipstick on the stall door. Plus she actually kissed the door too! Ew, who knows where it's been! Well, the bathroom obviously, but for all she knew someone could've peed on it or something. Hey, you never know. What was she gonna do, tell him to go in the girls bathroom to see the message she wrote and try to impress him or something? We were hecka laughing imagining what type of girl would do something like that.

Yesterday I went to this Jubilee thing they have every year here for the 4th of July. They had some hecka cool bands playing! They were local teen bands that played punk rock type stuff; we were watching them most of the time. We went back later to see the firework display and they only had the other bands for the old farts, I mean, um, older people, sounded like polka stuff or something. The fireworks were cool but they didn't have nearly as many as usual so it was way shorter. Dumbass was there too, agh! And here I thought I was rid of him for three monthes!

Well, we're leaving tomorrow morning for a family reunion in Massachussettes (however it's spelled) for a week. Or at least half my family is; my dad and Joe can't get out of work, and Matt can't miss summer school, so it's me, my mom, Paul, and Mike. I've never flown on a plane or been outside Cali, Oregon, and Nevada (well except when I was one, but that doesn't count), so it should at least be different. I won't be able to update (obviously) for another week or so, so hasta lavista!

6/29/00

Work last night kinda sucked, at least at first. They're tearing up the parkinglot, so I had to go around the back of this other building to park. Our cool manager that gave us free pizza and stuff got fired, and the one that was there was in a really bad mood, which brought everyone down. He even snapped at this one guy saying, "I don't want to hear any sarcastic remarks, so when I say something, you don't say anything, I'm not in a good mood." Well that was obvious! Things got better after a few hours. I did one of the things that improved people's moods and got everyone talking and joking around. I dug up a few little plastic cups to put some tomatoes in cuz someone wanted a side of them, then couldn't find the other one I brought. I was like, "Dangit, where'd it go? I know I had another one right here!" and it wasn't on the floor or anything either. Right as I was going to just go search for another one, I noticed it was right there on the counter in front of my face where it was supposed to be. The guy by me, Jonathan, (same one who got yelled at earlier) thought it was hilarious and started teasing me and telling everyone about it. They were asking me if I walked into glass doors or windows when I was a kid and stuff like that. I just laughed and mocked myself too; I'm always missing obvious things like that. Later Jonathan was melting cheese on the oven, then sticking those dang little cups in there on the big spatula type thing we pull pizzas out of the oven with. It was cool watching the cups melt; we were saying they were mini sculptures and he should try selling them to our customers or put them on the pizzas. He got yelled at for that too though: "Jonathan, stop sticking those in the oven! They're toxic!" It was amusing.

6/27/00

Wow, I've been doing stuff! Hey, shut-up, I didn't mean that! Anyway, we went sailing all afternoon yesterday since it's my only day off till Saturday. There was enough wind that we were moving, but slow enough that we could all lay around the boat and sleep, which is what we were doing most of the time. Couldn't sleep last night though cuz I'd dozed too much on the lake, plus I had to get up early for a doctor's appointment. Went shopping at this store that had a lot of good clothes, went by myself this time and enjoyed it, that was on Saturday I think. I'm supposed to write a skit today for a family reunion we're going on next week, barely started it though I was told about it months ago, hey what can I say I'm a procrastinator! It's what I do!

Work's been cool, especially since our new manager likes getting us free stuff when we do good. The other day he let us make a large pizza for ourselves since we hadn't made any mistakes that caused us to remake pizzas, and half the people didn't even want any cuz they'd already eaten. We got an all meat one with chicken and bacon added too so it was really all the meats except ham and anchovies cuz we didn't think of the ham till it was too late. Yes, people do actually order anchovies and they are nasty man! all covered in slime that drips out on the pizza and ew, you get the idea. Anyway, we ran out of large thin crust pizzas with four to make that didn't get made for at least a half hour after they were ordered. This enormous, scary looking black guy came in wanting his pizza, so the girl at the counter said we were just putting it in the oven, when really we'd just gotten the crusts and hadn't even sauced it yet. He could see that too, and she tried explaining the delay, but he looked really mad, was giving us a very evil look. Finally he realized there was nothing he could do, so he sat down at this table facing us and continued glaring at us from there while we made his pizza. I think that was the fastest pizza we've ever made! Think he was plotting to kill us, probably a penguin too.

That's all I can remember that I was gonna write about on here now, so you can stop reading this cuz I'm done rambling. *hmm, wonder how long that cookie's been on the floor, maybe it didn't break the ten minute rule yet, or was that seconds? oh well, who cares it's still a cookie!* Hey, I said you can stop reading this! You did not see that last part okay? Yeah, that's what I thought! Oh, go take a bike! Huh, that didn't sound quite right for some reason, guess it doesn't matter. Bye now! I mean it, you'd better stop reading right now! Your life may depend on it! Now go! For the sake of the world! Frolick if you must! He he, frolicking's funny! And always remembern t- Fruit loops!!!

6/23/00

I added a link to *drumroll please* Tony's World! Yes, now you may all go see Tony's wonderful world off my site!

Wow, looks like I've really started something with this slambook thing, they seem to be spreading now. Oh my gosh, the slambooks are taking over! Excellent, all a plot of mine for world domination.... I mean, um.... It wasn't me! None of you just saw that! Whew, close call....

Anyway, I went to the mall again the other day with my mom since Becky's still afraid of me driving anywhere outside this puny town, especially now that it's legal. I kinda wished I'd just gone by myself since I kept having to wait for my mom to look at everything and listen to her suggestions as to what I should wear, mainly pink because "it looks really good on you, brings out the color in your cheeks and lips". Unfortunately, though I'd rather not admit it, she was kinda right, but I hate that color! If I'd gone alone though I would've just made mental comments mocking the clothes, or made them out loud to myself (that would've been funny to scare people in the stores) and that wouldn't have been as much fun. I ended up not getting any clothes like I'd planned, just bought some other stuff instead, I'll have to search for some later.

Yesterday we went to Sunsplash again, Becky came this time, and that was pretty fun. Except that a huge group of little kids (probably penguin children) were there on a field trip, so lines were too long for the best slides, I almost tripped over a kid right away, and they were just generally annoying me some. Both of us almost drowning in the wave pool was fun though. I had to work afterwards and we were short on people, plus the tag machine that tells us what to make ran out of paper again without us knowing so we were backed-up again. It wasn't too busy though; a good part of the time near the end was spent messing around with Bryan talking to him. Plus because we'd held up so good with so few people, our new manager let anyone who wanted food on their break have it free. Good thing, I was starving the whole time! Man that pizza tasted good! Dangit, making myself hungry now, I'm gonna go find something to eat.

6/20/00

I started a new story on here in *gasp* the story section! I know, it's a tough concept and you wouldn't have found it without me telling you, but that's where it is.

I went to Sunsplash all day yesterday with my mom, Matt, two of his friends, and Paul. It was nice, just swimming, relaxing, and generally being lazy while enjoying being outside. The annoying thing is almost everyone there is either way younger or older than me, except the lifegaurds, a lot of people from my school work there, one of which I'm friends with. Bryan was there too, though I didn't see him much. Got my paycheck yesterday too. Excellent....Wanna go shopping but Mike has my car, I don't know how to get to the bank to cash it, and I don't have anyone except my mom to shop with. Michelle's the one I used to always go shopping with, nice having the same taste in clothes, but different enough that we never got the same things. *mental telepathic message: Michelle, teleport over here and go shopping with me!* Anyway, I stopped by and talked to my friend Emily at summer school earlier today while picking up Matt there, highlight of my day there, sad I know, but not much I can do, so whatever.

6/18/00

Yesterday I had to get up early for an employee meeting, so I didn't get much sleep. The meeting lasted two and half hours, which we got paid for. We got donuts and drinks there, played a game with prizes, and then were allowed to complain about whatever after they told us a few things. I won some smiley face stickers and came very close to winning tickets to any concert in the next two weeks in Sacramento, but it came down to a drawing between four of us, and of course I didn't win (I never win anything - think the penguins rig it all to make sure of that). Can't believe we actually got paid for that! That's right, make me get up early and you better pay me! Work was slow that night, which was good cuz I was half asleep most the time and totally out of it. They were gonna let me leave a half hour early, but right before I could go, we started getting some buisness, so I stayed a bit longer to help. Then I was annoying my managers by not leaving; they kept telling me I could once I was done whatever I was doing, but then I'd find something else to do, and even after clocking out still hung around a bit longer to talk to Bryan. Finally my manager walked over and said, "Bye Angela, we'll see you later." I took the hint and got out of there.

I can finally drive people now (legally that is) so yay! After the meeting yesterday, me and Matt went to Safeway to make a scene. He had tons of pennies in a coffee can that we went to put through one of those machines that they'll give you cash for change, and let me tell you, those machines make a lot of noise, especially when you got enough change going through it! Matt was scaring people; apparently he does normally by having dark, spiked hair, being tall, and just how he looks, but along with the scary look he had a smiley face sticker (hmm, wonder where he could've gotten that) stuck to his forhead. The machine was right up front even; we got a lot of weird looks from people as they walked by. On the way home we were randomly honking the horn, just for fun, laughing and enjoying ourselves.

Later we went to the mall too. Today's my mom's birthday, as well as Father's Day, so I was looking for presents for them, and Matt was searching for a Deftones hat and smiley face necklace he can regularly frighten people with. I can see them now: 'oh my gosh, that guy looks gothic, I think he's evil, but he's wearing a smiley face, what does it mean, what the heck's wrong with him, is he insane, will he kill us all, mommy I'm scared!!' Speaking of scary, there was a radio contest where they were giving away tickets to see Britany Spears to dads who dressed in drag, and that turned out to be taking place at the mall while we were there. They were up on a little stage singing her songs while a huge crowd cheered. So after that was over, there were all these cross-dressing dads wandering around the mall. I had fun.

Okay, so yesterday ended up being fun after all once I got past the start of it. I went with my mom, Paul, and our little cousin to Sunsplash Water Park for about two hours before I had to work. That was cool getting outside for a bit in the water, except Paul kept complaining about everything cuz he hadn't wanted to go. We went to Dairy Queen afterwards and I got this thing like a Sundae but not that was really good. At work we were busy again, well maybe not that busy, but there were only a few of us making the pizzas, me and this other girl officially, but other people helped some when they could too. Then we ran out of crusts though for a while and got really backed up. Finally we were caught up, when our manager walked by the thing that prints up what pizzas we need to make and asked, "How long has this been jammed?" A half hour, we found out, a half hour's worth of pizzas that hadn't even been started yet. Before we even finished all those, the other girl left so I was the only person really making them, but a few people came over to help too. They asked me to stay later too since people were still coming in after nine, and I stayed till shortly before closing. The manager had me fold boxes (something that takes a lot of talent and intelligence) for a while. I had a stack of em done, carried them over to this shelf high up where they're stored, and almost had them up there when it tipped and they all fell down on me. This girl taking her break almost died laughing, while I was just like, "Thank you, thank you." Now that takes talent!

Dude, this day sucks already!! One of those days where nothing will go right, and I've only been up for an hour. I was going to go pick Matt up from summer school and bug my friends who are there too, but then I saw Mike was about to go. I told him I wanted to so I could see my friends, but he was like, "Tough, I'm going cuz I'm sick of hanging around here." I pointed out he's never home, whereas I'm always stuck here, but of course he "doesn't give a shit" as he told me. That just ticked me off; if he'd stuck around any longer I probably would've punched him. It took the moron an hour to get him too cuz Matt had started walking and he didn't guess that (I knew he probably would), so he walks in here whining about it to me, when I sure as heck don't care after he did that. Anyway, I calmed down after he left (and after I punched and kicked my bedroom walls a few times) and started to make some pancakes. The stupid thing stuck to the fricken pan though! So I got a new pan, put some oil on that one too, and they still stuck to it! If I didn't know better I'd think someone poured superglue on the pans. That ticked me off too. I was going to make a sandwich with pita bread after that, but my brothers already ate it all. So now I'm starving cuz there's absolutely nothing to eat, and I don't have the money to buy anything either cuz I don't get payed till Monday. Definitely not a good day so far.

Work was good last night though. We got a new guy there Tuesday that I'm already becoming friends with. Last night a bunch of people I know there were all working in my area, so we were all talking and messing around. The new guy and this girl (one of two that I'm friends with) were both in jail and are on probation, so they were talking about that. You would never guess they were in jail before, especially the guy cuz he's really quiet. The girl was telling us stories about people she beat up, one for stealing her chair, then trying to convince us she's a peaceful person. Unfortunately, we were incredibly busy; I couldn't believe how many orders we had! That was because the other Round Table in town's power went out so they were closed and everyone was going to ours. Busiest I've seen it by far. I wasn't even supposed to work yesterday, but this one guy I don't get along with asked me to work for him cuz he couldn't. The good thing about that is it meant he wouldn't be working, so I didn't have to put up with him. I just have a few questions though after seeing some of the orders last night. Who the heck would order a pizza without sauce, without cheese, or with a side of anchovies? I leave you to ponder this.

Surprisingly, today was really fun. I decided to call my friend Emily (always mean to call friends during the summer, then put it off forever). We were having extremely bizarre conversations, most of which made absolutely no sense, when my mom yelled that they were going to watch Sleepy Hollow, which she'd just rented. Emily heard and wanted to see it, so I told her ask her mom and I'll bring her over. Took a bit to find her house since she moved after the last time we picked her up, but it was cool, she was fighting Matt too, that was entertaining. The movie was cool, gory I suppose, but it didn't look that real, plus me and Emily kept making funny comments. Our friend Jason came over after that to watch most of the other movie we rented, Interview With A Vampire, though he had to leave a bit early for an art class. Emily hung around and we played Risk with Mike after the movies. Hey, I'll go for any game that gives me a chance to take over the world! Nice actually doing stuff for one day, especially with my friends.

Things have been going pretty good lately. Except I just ate too many donuts and am fighting the urge to puke, but that's okay cuz they were really good. Hey, fresh out of the oven, extra chocolate....Of course I'm going to make myself sick on em! I have been feeling somewhat better though. Yesterday I was having kind of a bad day, but I got to work and was suddenly in a good mood. Work's been great; Friday they let me go two hours early, and yesterday we were all just messing around, spent a good amount of time standing there talking. That was fun, but I have today and tomorrow off; gotta find more stuff to do around here. Wish Mike wasn't always stealing the car.

As you probably already noticed, I added a slambook to my main page.

Yesterday was pretty bad. I went running around noon with my dad and our dogs since it was actually a bit cooler out for once. I haven't gone running for a while, though I've been wanting to, cuz I was busy with school, then my dad was always going in the morning before I got up or while I was working. It felt good to get out and run a few miles again - except I didn't feel so good afterwards. Didn't help that I'd only eaten junk food cuz that was what we had - donuts, cookies, cinnamin rolls, more cookies.... Anyway, I haven't been feeling that great lately as it is, and yesterday after running I was feeling really sick. Not like 'outta my way, I'm gonna puke' type sick, but my stomach was hurting really bad, bad enough that I couldn't get up, just layed on my bed reading a while. So I had to call in sick for work, which sucked since I like work, took some medicine, and layed down a bit more. The medicine got me feeling better, and I was fine after a while, though somewhat weaker. I called Jason, which cheered me up, then had to take some teasing from my parents, who were saying I was just faking it to get out of working. In the evening I got sick of being inside and went with Matt and his friend Brian to go to a car show nearby and walk around near there a while, though that got a bit boring, and standing so much wasn't too good. Doing a bit better today though, hopefully well enough to survive six hours of work tonight, man I'm gonna be tired working till midnight! Oh well, enough of this, writing about being sick is depressing, so this'll be all. Go sign my new slambook!

Guess what I've been doing lately? Absolutely, positively nothing! Except when I'm working, at least that gives me something to do. Yesterday the highlight of my day was talking to Jason on the phone for about an hour till I had to eat dinner, which shows just how bad my days are. Well, not really, Jason's fun to talk to, I told him I'd call him again today. I get really sick of being stuck inside though, I love being outside in the sun, but there's never anywhere to go. Oh well. Sunday I was late for work, thoguht I was supposed to be there at 5:30 when really it was 5:00. They called here to tell me, it was okay though, I'm new so I'm allowed to make stupid mistakes like that. I'll just need a new excuse later on. Yesterday work went well, except we were hecka busy, weird for a Tuesday night. This little kids team came in without a reservation when we were already out of pizza crusts and waiting for some to be made for other orders, so that really got us backed-up, and of course that happened shortly before I was supposed to be off. The manager asked if I could stay later, so I didn't go till after 11, two hours later than I was supposed to. That guy I heard making fun of something I'd said was working my station putting toppings on pizzas; he barely spoke, which was unusual for him, though I think it was cuz of before. Fortunately, Bryan showed up a half hour after me and was also working our station, so we got to talk a ton, and that was fun. Kinda sucked having to close cuz I had to sweep, scrub, and dry the floor of the back area where we work, but at least it gave me something to do for a while, plus I'll be getting paid for it. Man that'll be weird actually having money!

6/5/00

I added a new pic of me and my friends to the page off the About Me section.

6/3/00

I added some more gifs on my links, thoughts, shoutouts, and info sections.

I'm starting to not like some of the people at my work so much now. Last night was hecka busy from the moment I got there, and we were behind for a while. The guy and girl I was working with were giving me a lot of crap, mainly cuz I was weighing out the toppings like we're supposed to and they didn't want me to bother. I don't know how much of the stuff to put on though cuz it varies so much, so I pretty much ignored them. Then I came back with some more stuff to restock one of the toppings, was right by the guy while I was putting it away, and heard him talking about me to the girl. He turned around too late, saw I was right there, and knew that I'd heard. He didn't say much to me the rest of the night, except to bug me about something a bit later, which I ignored. The girl tried getting me to talk some by asking about school and stuff, but I didn't say much to them, especially the guy, for the rest of the night, except when he was helping me mop the floor at the end. I got away from them as much as I could. I'd thought the guy was cool too up until last night. What is it about me that people feel the need to talk about me, and at school tell lies about me, even when I don't know them? Thank goodness for my friend Bryan; I needed to see a friendly face. I was over talking to him whenever I could and told him what happened. I got a 30 minute unpaid break, and my manager bought me a personal pizza since we'd been doing so good and hadn't messed-up. That ended up with a hole in the middle of it from the crust sticking to the pan, but it was still good. Near the end of my break, this other guy working went on his break and came over and sat with me. He looks like he's in his 20's, but actually he would be graduating from my school this year if he hadn't dropped out a few years back. We were talking for a bit, and I came back from my break in a good mood. At least there are some friendly people there that I can talk to. All guys too; the girls all gave me dirty looks the first time they saw me, and now they don't talk to me much except to tell me what to do sometimes, whereas the guys would be like "hi I'm so and so, what's your name?" or just talk to me some. I always tend to get along better with guys though anyway.

Man, yesterday was our last day of school, I'm gonna be so bored this summer, at least till July. Becky's gone a few weeks, of course Michelle's in Oklahoma and I can only talk to her weekends at my grandparents when they get long distance calls free, and man I'm just gonna miss seeing everyone. Plus when I'm not working I'll probably get way too bored, not to mention having to deal with my brothers and parents when they're home.

Anyway, the last day was okay, watched some pretty boring presentations in history most of the class, then did absolutely nothing in english. Found out I did really good on the outcomes in both classes, think I just barely got distinguished on both, which is 95% or higher, which was cool. After school us juniors got a barbeque for winning the spirit contest they have throughout the whole year, food was much better than last year. Our friends all took off right after grabbing some food though, which sucked, so it was just me and Becky, but we were still enjoying it till Mike made us leave. Him and Matt stayed home (which is stupid to me cuz it's the last time to see most people for the summer), but Mike wouldn't let me drive myself to school so that he could come back for the BBQ. He really annoys me sometimes. Ha ha, he finally got a ticket for speeding yesterday! I mean, he always speeds by a lot (got pulled over for going 40 in a 25 zone) and he just now got in trouble for it. Was trying to convince me to speed too the other day, but I just go about 5 over cuz you can't really get in trouble for that.

Becky came over after school (no one else could do anything), so we went on the computer a bit, played pool, drove around, and some other stuff. It was pretty fun, though I couldn't quite convince myself it was really summer, just cuz it's a weird thought. Used to it now, but it still kinda sucks. Work will give me something to do anyway, and soon I can legally drive people (not that that's ever stopped me). I actually enjoy my job, can't believe they pay me for it, just help put toppings on the pizzas, and I like the people I work with. Get to see my friend Bryan too, who always greets me as Angelalala. Only bad thing is how sore my back and feet get from standing so long. Plus they've been keeping me from going to things this week. Wednesday was the last comedy night with the seniors, yesterday was this car show near me I'd always go to with my brothers, and tonight's graduation for the seniors, some from our group, and most of which I won't see again, and I have to miss everything to work! Can't even stop by for part of the graduation cuz I'm working 5:30- midnight. Dangit, that sucks! Then I get Saturday off, but no one can do anything then and there's nothing going on. Man. Oh well, I'm sick of Matt asking me to get off, so that's all for now.

Message for Becky: Oh, look at me, I'm Becky, I think I'm so cool mocking Angie on my page with those Timon pictures, even though it's not true! I'm gonna go frolick with my imaginary husbands now! *Mickey Mouse laugh even though he IS dead* --Just kidding of course Becky....Sure....If that's what you want to believe....hahaha!

I started my job at Round Table Pizza yesterday (the one not by BelAir - everyone always asks which one cuz there's two on the same street). It was actually pretty fun; the people were...interesting.... and we were all messing around some, talking and whatnot. It was fun, but I couldn't wait to go home. Plus my feet were hurting from standing so long. I'm officially "the new girl" right now.

Sunday night Mike's new girlfriend came over for dinner, and she was the opposite of what I expected. Kinda nerdy, very plain, glasses and long, straight hair, looked like my cousin actually before she cut her hair, which scared me, and she was very quiet. Looked scared of us. The girl Joe's been seeing sometimes is a lot better, always trying to talk to all of us, and she's funny and stuff. She was over too I think Monday night, and we all went to go bug Mike and his girlfriend at KFC. However, the- oh my gosh, she dyed her hair red! Red red, not like the natural hair color at all. Sorry, Mike just drove up and I saw him walking off with his girlfriend, the one who now has bright red hair. Kinda pinkish too. Anyway, back to what I was saying. They had just closed the lobby when we got there, so instead we walked around the building through the drivethrough, getting stares from some customers still inside and the manager too, then drove off laughing.

This morning I got up at 4:45 to go to senior sunrise. It's this thing at our school where the juniors gather on a hill to watch the sun rise as we officially become seniors. Kinda sucked though, except the sunrise itself was cool. But it was hecka freezing up there; really windy with a cold wind, and of course there wasn't any sun yet for warmth. No one from my group went either like they were going to; some, like *cough* Becky *cough* were asleep when their oh so generous friend went to give them a ride over there. I found a few people I talk to in my classes though and hung out with them. The latest group watching me was also there I discovered. As soon as I noticed them, one guy spotted me, the guy next to him looked, then the whole bottom half of their group looked, then the other half too so they were all staring at me. A few were looking around, so another guy (same one from the pool party) stretched his arm out and pointed at me. It was so ridiculously obvious; honestly, I think they really believe I'm blind or completely oblivious or something. There was another really bad thing there, but I'm not gonna go into that.

Haven't been doing anything in my classes for this last week. Becky ditched band to come in our theater class and hang out with us for two hours. I dozed through the first half hour of Spanish, then did nothing the rest of the time. I realized earlier I'd forgotten to bring these sentences I did to show the teacher, but when I went up to discuss my grade, he just asked if I'd done all the work, then gave me an A. Cool....Man, I shouldn't have bothered spending the time doing them! Oh well, I was watching commercials at the time anyway. Only one more day of school tomorrow....kinda bad cuz I won't be seeing people for a while, but I don't care much now, and I'm actually pretty glad. Could use a break from everything.
