Pai, the last of a mysterious race of immortals, seeks an ancient supernatural artifact which can change
her imnto a true human being. She enlists the aid of Yakumo Fuji the son of archaeologist, to help her in
her quest. Pai never has a chance to explain to Yakumo exactly how dangerous this quest will be before
she is forced to take control of his own immortal soul to keep him from dying at the hands of an
overprotective demon.
Their incredible journey for the "Statue of Humanity" takes them from Tokyo to Hong Kong and back again. The powerful artifact,
currently in the hands of evil demon worshippers, is the centerpiece of numerous occult rituals and blood sacrifices.
This is a really wonderful series. I have the Perfect Collection (which contains 1 to 4 epsiodes), Volume 5 and 6. There are Volume 7, but I can't find it anywhere. If you know, pls let me know.
Perfect Collection is 110 minutes long and was made in 1991. Volume 5 and 6 is 45 minutes long each and made in 1997.
There are alot of blood, gore and violence in this series, along with a tad of romantic and comedy.
