Reality Check was created in October of 1996 by Producer/Host Melanie Baker, and Associate Producer/Technical Supervisor Jonathan Russo. Reality Check is a live call-in television show that provides an open forum for discussing metaphysical topics. The show's purpose is to try to open people's minds to new possibilities, and get them to think about the implications of these occurances on what they consider to be reality. We try to keep our minds open to all possibilities, as well, so that we can expand and learn along with our viewing audience.
In the four seasons it's been on the air, Reality Check has covered many topics. We have discussed everything from Reiki to Native American spirituality, from pagan discrimination to past life regressions, from dreams to U.F.O. cover-ups, and just about everything in between. We also try to frequently have guests on the show who speciliaze in these different areas, and add new insights and new points of view to our discussions. We encourage viewers to call in during the show, and share their opinions on the topic as well.
Many times, the hosts disagree with each other, and often we disagree with our guests, but it doesn't matter who is right or wrong. We are just providing an open forum for discussion.
