As everyone in our Country and in the World will never forget, on September 11, 2001, tragedy struck that will forever change us all. Four commercial airliners were hi-jacked, and two of them were crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York. One was flown into the Pentagon. The other was on an unknown destination of destruction that is believed to have been stopped by the brave people aboard that airplane that took the plane down outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, giving their own lives to save countless others.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of these horrible acts, and to their family and friends. Our thoughts are also with all of the people who have been watching everyday as we refuse to let our Nation be torn apart. We are all forever changed and none of us will ever forget the heroism and bravery of the people who put thier own lives at risk in the hopes of saving others. For the first time in a while, the United States is truly united. May we always remember these days, and not let the trivial mediocrities of our everyday lives again overcome us. May we never again let ourselves lose sight of what's truly important.
