Welcome my Wild Ones! Welcome to the latest addition
to the Save RWC headquarters. Here in this small page, we will begin to
uncover some of those little mysteries that elude us all when it comes to
the best TV show on earth, Reel Wild Cinema. Be sure to check back to this page
often, as I will soon be adding some resources to help answers the riddles
of RWC. But let us begin. Step into the light, and help us solve...
THE ANCIENT RIDDLES OF REEL WILD CINEMA
First, we shall step forward to the first riddle.
The answer to that riddle, which has given even I a run for my money, has
plagued all RWC fans since the dawn of time. That is the RWC closing credits.
You see fans, in the closing credits of RWC, up among the key grips and sound
guys, their lays a list of People that RWC wish to thank. Now, one of these
people that make that list is, you ready for this? The "Colonel Justice Squad"
Bizarre? I like to think so. but what I really want to know is, WHO ARE
THESE GUYS? They sound like good people, and the fact that RWC thanks them
means that they must be. So, please, If anyone out there knows who these
people are, or maybe you are one of them, please make contact with me at this
e-mail address: ReelWild@hotmail.com
Next, we have the mystery of the RWC pilot.
The story of the RWC pilot is one as old as time itself. So here is a
condensed version of it. When the Three Amigos first
pitched RWC to USA, they pitched a show that was very different from the show we
all watch and love today. In the original never before aired RWC pilot, Sandra
was a superhero, with great cape and all. She lived in an apartment where
a guy on the piano, or some piano like instrument, kept her amused. She
of course, showed all the best b-movies you could think of. But the show
was more like a sitcom, with a on-going story-line and recurring characters.
Characters such as "neighbors" that were always trying to get Sandra. Perhaps, maybe
just perhaps, these neighbors were a metaphor for the way the three amigos felt
the that USA was trying to get them? Maybe, maybe not. but the RWC pilot was
never to be seen by human eyes again. But, all was not lost. It seems that
there are two copies of the RWC pilot floating around somewhere out there.
I just so happen to know where also. One copy, is in the hands of the very
great, Something Weird Video Company
How did they get a copy you ask? Well, SWV is run and operated by Mike Vraney
who just so happened to be one of RWC's co-creators. So, of course he has
a copy. As of today's date, SWV has no plans to release the RWC pilot for
sale to the general public. Well, then you think, "Who has the other copy?"
Well, lets just say that that will remain a secret. For know.
Next, let us examine the man behind the creation of
Reel Wild Cinema, Marty Sokol. The last time I spoke with Marty, was last
March. Back then he was in New York working on a new project. Well, just
recently I learned that Marty was once a worker over at the World Famous
Troma Studios. It seems that Marty worked
at Troma for a unknown amount of time. But while there, he did happen to bump
into such people as Trey Parker and Matt Stone
The twisted minds behind the cartoon smash South Park. What I want to know
is what did Marty do while at Troma? What movies did he write and or produce?
Is he still with Troma. My crack research team has come up zero. Maybe it
was just one of those things that man was never meant to know....nah
And next we have the biggest mystery of them all.
I of course speak of the mystery of Jimmy Maslon. When I use the phase
"Three Amigos" I am referring to the 3 men who all together created RWC.
They are: Mike Vraney, Marty Sokol, and Jimmy Maslon. Now, I have in one
way or another communicated with all but two of these men. Jimmy Maslon has
time and time again spilled through my traps and e-mails. He is like the mighty
big-foot. We think he exists, but no one ever seems to see him. All we
know is that he is school chums with both Marty and Mike. And that he has
great taste is movies. He is also the one responsible for introducing
Marty to Mike, thus creating one of the greatest trio of TV producers in
history. You can read more about this and about the 3 amigos at the RWC Text Gallery

Jimmy, if you are reading this, PLEASE drop me a line
Well, that does it, for know. Please, if you can answer any of the
questions that I post here, please let me know. Even us crusaders need the
occasional helping hand. ;)
