This is just general about vampires; I got from a good friend, the Sepulchure:
How do you become a vampire;
When we say vampire, we usualy think about the blood-drinkers
from the movies. But if you research in European folk-lore,
you will find vampiric tales, in every single county.
these tales are very different, and so are the vampires described
in them.
In Rumania, we found some vampires that are more like a beast-like
monster, in Rusia we have a spirit that possess people making them
vampires, some vampires are blood drinkers, others eat flesh,
and others drain your life force.
Therefore, you must understand that, when we deal with vampires,
we have to know that there are several different kinds of
night stalkers.
Different kinds of vampires;
Vampyres = A vampiric soul that takes over a mortal body.
they will "live" in that body till the body ages and dies, and
then they will possess another new body.
This is the most common type of vampires,
since many can claim to be one of these.
A vampyre looks human, is mortal and ages
he/she breath and eat and drink as a human.
therefore, most vampire impostors, claim to be vampyres.
On the other Hand a real vampyre, would be
almost impossible to spot if he/she hides among humans.
they feed on blood, but only once or twice every decade.
Psychic Vampires = Another kind of "vampire"
these vampires, need the life forco of mortals to survive.
they do not drink blood, but uses their psychinc draining
forces to suck the life essence out of people.
Most of these vampires are unaware of their vampiric existence.
Others who know about it and can master their powers,
tend to be very seductively and charismatic.
Using their charm to get close to people and drain them.
(Have you ever been with a person, that either attracks you or
that always makes you be sorry for him/her and always, gives
you the feeling that you should help him/her. And when you get
home you feel all tired and exhausted?)
And then we have Other vampires who drinks blood, but most of them
not a a regular basis, they feed once every year, others every 10 - 20
years. they claim to be immortal as those described in most vampire
movies,
and to master a serie of vampiric powers.
They tend to prefere darkness, but they can go out in a heavy clouded
day.
they are superhuman tough and quick. And well about how to kill them ...
*hehe* ask them , and they will change the subject.
Then We have the Succubus/Incubus
A demon/Demonette who drains the life essence of humans
through sexual intercourse.
There are also some Vampires who are pretty much like
those in common folk lore, but they do not
make new childes. They are vampires cause a vampiric
spirit have taken over their bodies, they are immortal
and do not get old.
So depending on what kind of vampire you wish to be,
you would be "made" a vampire in different ways

Which kinds are real?
I have my own theories, of course... as one of them is, there are different kinds of vampires, of course, but I donīt believe in all of them. Here I have listed 4 kinds of vampires, which people have spoken or told about, but as I said, I donīt believe in all of them.
Draculian
I donīt believe in the Draculian kind, they can turn into wolves, rats and bats, I donīt believe, that vampires can turn into other creatures, like bats, wolfes and rats (like in Dracula). The Draculian kind canīt be near garlic, canīt be seen in mirrors, and they die with the old stake through the heart; and then they donīt like cruseficses. I donīt believe in that. If your body is there, then you must be seen in the mirror. They are dead, but they are not ghosts, why would they need blood, if they didnīt have a real body? And no people like the smell if garlic very much, right? And the stake through the heart; not only vampires would die by that, but all people! And what help should a 'cross' do, if the vampire wanna kill you? It might even just be made of wood! Ricean
As you may have understood, if you have read the other things on my side, I believe in the Ricean kind of vampires. Theyīre more normal, if you can say so. You can see they are vampires, with a look on the hair, looks like itīs really alive; the nails, like glass, and the eyes, shiny light. And of course the skin, itīs all white. They need blood each night in the beginning, but they grow stronger for each day, so one time they doesnīt have to drink blood very much. They die with fire burn, and sunlight; and if their head is cutt off! And if they loose all their blood. Vampirics
Then there is the kind, that I have named myself, I call them Vampirics . They are a bit like Ricean vampires, but these can go out in daylight, if just there is enough clouds on the sky. And they can eat fresh meat, if thereīs enough blood in it, but not too much. But as all vampires, they mostly move in the night, and they mostly drink blood. Martinians
This kind is a bit new to me, but I think this perhaps is the most realistic vampire. Martinians look a lot like humans, and can almost act like normal people. They need to drink blood, but not so much, if they also drink alcohol, because alcohol magnifies the effect the blood gives. They can also be in full daylight, when the sun is shining, but they will be a little lazy and tired if they havenīt had enough to drink last night. They mostly like to walk around in the night, of course, īcause vampires are creatures of the night. But they can be in daylight, and you can have one right beside you without notising. They can pretend to eat, but canīt use it for anything, so sooner or later this food have to come out again. Martinians can also have sex, like humans, as far as I know, the Riceans canīt do this.
