-Hoping to get back into good favor with the higher powers Bret Hart agreed to do the job to Booker T.

-Scott Hall’s foot was ran over after Superbrawl but Scott Hall vs Booker T is very likely for Uncensored.

-Eric Bischoff expressed his opinion about the WWF and his own company recently on a Cincinnati radio station. One thing Eric did say is that Scott Steiner has been banned from live TV broadcasts for his inappropriate language.

-Chad has not been able to confirm the rumor concerning Chirs Jericho getting offered a contract near $1 million. He knows that WCW is gearing up for an offer to Chris though.

-Chad is not a fan of Phil Mushlick and feels he has gained popularity because of his WWF bashing. But he did find some interesting stats concerning the WWF and Monday Night RAW. Chad gives off some stats that have been on the net covered by AP and MSNBC.

-Randy Savage will be on Mad About You and Hogan will be on Suddenly Susan. Ross Foreman will be working with Savage getting the Macho Man some coverage. Savage’s return should be huge.

-Brian Clark aka Wrath has been used on Mortal Kombat. He is getting some time off so he can be fierce again when he returns.

-Chad welcomes Rikki Rackman to the broadcast team. Looks like he will replace Gene at the Nitro parties. Funny hearing Gene talk about those parties backstage. Gene hated doing those parties and hated people touching his bald head.

-Torrie Wilson is getting paid per appearance after they figure what to do with the David Flair angle she will likely get offered a contract.

-Chad starts talking about an Adult Film Co. called Exteme Associates and how they plan on doing a big cross promotion with ECW. Expect that in the future.

-Sad news as Madden reports the death of Rick Wilson aka the Renegade at age 33. He gives a brief history of the former WCW employee. Debuted March 1995 had a run as TV champ beating Arn Anderson but lost the strap to DDP. He was trained by Killer Kowalski. Madden gives his condolences to the family.

-Some debate on whether the name Torrie Wilson will use in WCW. Either Torrie or Samantha. She should be known as Torrie though since she was well known before WCW. She will be on Baywatch next month. Got to wonder how long she will be with David since he is not ready to become a wrestler. His TV time will go down but he sure hope Wilson’s will go up. She is getting paid on per night basis. WCW better tie her up to a long term deal. Madden wants to tie her up to some bed posts.

-Madden wants to shoot down an internet rumor. Chris Jericho has not been offered a $750,000 or 925,000 a year contract. WCW may be preparing for a huge offer like that but they haven’t yet. Main thing is Jericho wants out of mid-card status. Moving to the WWF might not be where it’s at. If Jericho can get the big bucks in WCW they would have to justify his contract by giving him a main event push sometime.

-Word is Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows will become a feature motion picture.

-Speaking of Bret Hart expect the Hitman to gather a gang of wrestlers around him very soon possibly this Monday on Nitro.

-Great leadership move by Kevin Nash to lose to Rey Mysterio Jr. Maybe a rematch between those two at Uncensored. Nash wants to make the ring attitude more like Japan where anybody can beat anyone at any time. But he will stick with the America style of the backstage videos and pre-taped happenings.

-Madden saw Macho Mans backstage at Superbrawl his new ring outfit looked liked something Koko B. Ware would wear. His valet Gorgeous George looked great she could wear anything and look good....or nothing for that matter.

-Look for Ric Flair to pull something so he remains President of WCW longer maybe even on a permanent basis.

-WCW will be teaming up with MTV March 2nd in Cancun Mexico for Spring Break ‘99. They will feature a mini battle royal. WCW that will appear will be Chris Jericho, Perry Saturn, Rey Mysterio Jr., Chavo Guerrero Jr., Billy Kidman and Hugh Morris. Raven and Jimmy Hart will be doing some commentating.

-World Championship Wrestling Classics will be part of a new cable network announced on Wednesday by Turner Broadcasting. Turner South will debut in the fall as the first regional cable entertainment network, targeting six southeastern states.

-After the bloody brawl between Hollywood Hogan and Ric Flair at Superbrawl, a First Blood match might be up next.

-The Disney company Buena Vista will promote and help out financially with ECW’s PPVs. They will share in the PPV profit increases. This is great for ECW.

-Hotline changes for Mark Madden. He will be on Tuesdays and Fridays now and if you forgot he is still the self proclaimed only real journalist in pro-wrestling.
