Are we kin to the McGaughey family? That is a question that several HENRY family researchers have been pursuing for years.
Does anyone have a list of the children of Mary "Polly" McGaughey and William Henry?
"Descendants of William and Margaret McGaughey" by Polly Rachel McGaughey Sutton of Oklahoma City and/or "William and Margaret McGaughey/y, Supplement 1991" by Polly Sutton mentions a reunion where the McGaughey descendants are listed. The only child listed in the book for Mary McGaughey and William Henry is John McGaughey Henry. If this is the John who married Annie Susan Lott and Callie Shepherd, then he has several siblings, making Mary and William my husband's ggg grandparents.
