In second/third grade, I quite loved the movie Land Before Time. It's a classic, I say. Anyways.. my friend Kathy and I -- who the teachers were always mixing up; both having long blonde hair and the same height -- decided that we would be twins. And, to be twins, your names had to start with the same letter, correct? (Made sense to our minds.) So we became Cathy and Cera.

This has amused me much ever since then, and recently on a childlike spree, I located the offical website of this movie. *cough* here *cough* Imagine, to my surprise.. the following introduction to the character Cera (who is, by far, the most awesome of them all.)

A bossy and snobbish horned dinosaur with a bit of an attitude! She loves to brag about herself, sometimes even inventing tall tales about herself - like the time she beat a Sharptooth all by herself! Cera does actually have a sweet and gentle side, but tries hard not to show it all the time.

What's that? You don't believe that? Well.. Amusingly enough, I seem to always have had a problem with the potential of possessing a "sweet and gentle side." Recent sifting through old emails has lent itself to the following discovery, written some time in '98, I believe:

i'm having a split-personality moment. i don't want to be called sweet, but i don't want to be called not sweet. cuz we all know i'm just a little sweetie at heart, underneath the steel exterior, there's a little cream-puff romantic trying to get out. not trying very hard, but trying all the same. (you have NO IDEA how hard i'm trying to not laugh. i'm grinning hilariously though)
